These anti-slip strips seemed like a good option over using a rubber mat. Those always get moldy and nasty over time. The look is nearly invisible but the traction is really great. Easy to put on. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry and let sit at least overnight before using the tub or shower. 24 hours is what's recommended.

These anti slip stickers seem to do the trick. Not much in the way of instructions to help you space them out. Just take tub usable area in length and divide by the number of stickers to give you an idea. These stickers protrude up quite a bit. They might be a problem for sensitive feet.

These were easy to apply, and make the shower floor non-slip. I feel so much safer. You can barely see them, but when you step on them your foot doesn’t slide around on the shower floor. If you’re like me, the thought of slipping in the shower and having to have someone come rescue you naked, haunts you. I don’t worry about that anymore.

I've been using these grip strips in my cast iron base shower/tub for a few weeks now. Mixed things up and only used half of the strips along with some colorful sea creature grips that are made of similar material. They are not actual sandpaper, but more of a hard rubberized texture that grips regardless of being wet or dry, they do sort of feel like sandpaper. No problems with any peeling up. I think people who have problems with lifting might have textured surfaces or plastic tubs, any kind of textured surface will allow for moisture to seep underneath the stickers. My tub is made of heavy old iron with an ultra smooth enameled finish, these stickers bond tight to that kind of surface. I cleaned my tub a couple times with some Bon Ami and a scrub brush, and a little bleach spray to finish it off and a good rinse. Made sure the surface was dry and dust free before getting busy with stickers. The backing on these peel off easily and the adhesive is super sticky. After placing my grip strips down I filled in some of the spaces with the more colorful stickers. The scrapper tool it comes with is handy to ensure you get a nice air bubble free adhesion. I often stand sideways while I shower and lean again the wall, this puts a little more pressure and weight down where I stand and creates a slight angle (the tub already has slight angle to help with drainage), thus the reason I wanted something to secure my standing placement in a slippery wet tub. I tried one of those soft woven suction cup mats, and it constantly slid around and turned out to be more dangerous than it was secure, plus it would take days to dry as the weave design retained pools of water. These stickers allow for draining and there are no remnants of pooling water after a good 12 hours go by. It's been weeks of use I'm glad to say there has been no slipping, the textured strips and sea life are keeping my tub secure and fun.

They are a great product for their non slip feature, but they seem cost reduced since the last time I bought them in 2023. They are thinner so the grip is kess effective. I just bought another 4 sets of 24 each to double up.—put on top of the new ones I just installed. Will see if that does the trick and holds in place.

Kurz zur Einordnung: Bei 1,86 m Körpergröße habe ich es tatsächlich geschafft, mich in einer ganz normalen 1,00 m Dusche so zu überschlagen, dass meine Beine kurzzeitig eher Richtung Decke als Richtung Boden zeigten. Endstation: flach auf dem Duschboden. Ergebnis: viele beeindruckende blaue Flecken, aber zum Glück nichts Ernsthaftes. Der Schock saß trotzdem tief. Also habe ich mich – innerlich leicht gekränkt, äußerlich vorsichtig – dazu entschieden, das zu tun, was ich jahrelang kategorisch ausgeschlossen habe: Anti-Rutsch-Aufkleber. Früher hätte ich sie unter „Rentner- oder Kinderlösung“ verbucht. Heute nenne ich es schlicht gesunden Menschenverstand. Montage: Überraschend unkompliziert. Oberfläche reinigen, aufkleben, fertig. Kein Gefummel, kein Spezialwerkzeug, keine Flüche. Optik: Mir war wichtig, dass meine Dusche nicht plötzlich aussieht wie ein öffentliches Schwimmbad aus den 90ern. Die Aufkleber sind angenehm dezent und stören das Gesamtbild kaum – genau so, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe. Funktion: Der wichtigste Punkt: Sie funktionieren. Und zwar deutlich. Der Halt ist sofort spürbar und gibt ein sicheres Gefühl, ohne dass man sich wie auf Schleifpapier fühlt. Es ist eher eine leicht strukturierte Oberfläche mit einer Art „Massageeffekt“ für die Füße – ungewohnt, aber keineswegs unangenehm. Langzeiteindruck (noch offen): Hier bleibt abzuwarten, wie gut die Aufkleber auf Dauer halten, ob sie sich verfärben und wie pflegeleicht sie sind. Das wird sich erst mit der Zeit zeigen. Fazit: Für den Preis bin ich absolut zufrieden. Vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, dass die Alternative unter Umständen ein unfreiwilliger Bodenkontakt mit akrobatischen Einlagen ist. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich das mal sage – aber diese „unscheinbaren Klebedinger“ sind eine ziemlich sinnvolle Investition in die eigene Unversehrtheit!
