Haven't used it to paint yet but took it out to look it over. Overall I'd say the build is very comparable to the 3M brand of this. Slight new like silicone plastic smell when opening but somewhat to be expected. Mask fits well to face in and out valves works. The goggles are like identical to Dewalt minus the color Their not the Walmart or Harbor Freight cheap ones. I tried googles on with my mask and eyeglasses and they pushed my glasses slightly back but not much my glasses or eyeglasses didn't fog up in minute i had it on. Will provide update after i paint. Will probably keep in box to keep dust off it in garage keep note of how they pack it took a minute to get to fit back in box.

I haven't used it yet but seems light and comfortable comes with goggles earplugs few filters and prob couple other things I'm forgetting to mention lol. But think it's a great purchase for the price. I had an older one like this one but it was old and nasty I mill wood, CNC, laser engraved, and paint and work on cars so I am delighted with my new mask as it will be on my face rather frequently in the near future. This suits my needs very well. Seems to fit rather nicely and seal well. I recommend this purchase. I might even buy another one and attach different filters so I don't have to keep swapping filters and just have a mask ready for the task at hand. Just make sure you have the right filters for whatever task You are doing different filters for different chemicals and debree so do your research. This one comes with dust and paint filters I believe.

Excellent mask covers a lot of smoke from outside I love it

Great value buy. The filters work great for concrete dust/grinding. Haven’t used it for anything else yet, but will be when I start installing my epoxy flooring. Only complaint is the pain I get on the bridge of my nose after long use. I was able to get this to mostly go away by wearing a bandaid to provide a little padding between my nose and the mask (no seal issues from the mask with bandaid fix so far). Also, the plastic attachments for behind the neck are flimsy and broke after a few days of use. Probably a good idea to get a large safety pin as a backup replacement for this likely high fail design flaw.

This chemical respirator is amazing! I wore it 3 times while lacquering my kitchen cabinets and the smell was so diminished that one day I was able to work for 5 hours! The first time I used it, I had to leave off one of the side respirators because I was lying on my side lacquering my baseboards (sounds weird, but when my tile floor was removed and LVP put in, it dropped the baseboards at least an inch so they were very visible). I covered over the open area where the respirator would have been with packing tape and was still able to breathe comfortably and the smell was controlled. The second time I used it, I noticed the smell a little more so changed the filters before I tackled the kitchen cabinets again. The third time was a marathon, but I didn't take the respirator off until I was in a room that had been closed off from everything going on and the smell immediately assaulted me. I can't recommend this highly enough. My husband did have to adjust the straps for me each time, which I wouldn't have been able to do by myself. The job was so awful that I swore I would never do it again, but I will definitely be keeping my new favorite toy!

As somebody who frequently does miniature painting with both air brushes and rattle cans, who does cleaning with bleach and other highly pungent (and dangerous for the lungs) chemicals and who even occasionally does detail body work, I've tried using this mask and it works beautifully! I've used previous gas masks that don't seal right, don't fit, they're too heavy or too hot (in Texas heat this matters!) to some that just their charcoal filters just aren't of good enough quality. This one covers all of my bases! The only thing I could maybe dock points on, is that it could be lighter, but when I was with the mask on, regardless of what I was doing, I smelled nothing but clean (maybe slightly stuffy but clean nonetheless!) air! I just finished using a bleach mixture to clean up some awful stains which previous air masks didn't properly filter, and I was just doing my business as if I was using water! I couldn't smell a thing! Some of it got on my clothes, I left the area, went outside, took off the mask, and I reeked! Needless to say, for the price, for the quality, it's probably not the best mask I've ever used, but it's definitely top 3 for sure, maybe even top 2, and the price compared to those makes it a no brainer! Also, the product comes with a pair of filters installed, and a pair to replace the ones in the box, just for those who weren't sure.

The good: For me the mask seats well and seals well even over a beard. When applying lacquer it keeps the smell out. When sanding i breath easier and don’t caugh up anything or have to clear my nose. Nice. The bad: The strap clips are very light plastic and flimsy. The straps keep slipping through then and popping off. I plan on stitching the straps closed around the bottom clips and completely replacing the latch clip with something sturdy… maybe sew on some Velcro actually. <—- yep that’ll be best. Conclusion: For the price I’m happy. To get something cheep in this economy corners are going to be cut somewhere. That’s be realistic.
