love it.
These headphones have truly been a companion for me daily, whether going to school, walking outside, shopping, cleaning the house, and been used for almost four year daily almost an dstill has an an amazing bettary and works well too. it have finally started to show some wear and tear. The plastic near the right ear has come off, and the top leather is beginning to peel. I suspect this might be my fault, as I was quite diligent about cleaning them with alcohol during the pandemic. Every time I returned home from being outside, I made sure to wipe them down to eliminate any germs and viruses. While it felt necessary at the time, I might have been a bit too overzealous in my cleaning routine! Despite these cosmetic issues, I can’t say enough good things about their performance. The noise cancellation is outstanding, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my music or podcasts without being distracted by the outside world. The sound quality is impressive as well, providing rich and clear audio that enhances my listening experience. The design of these headphones is another highlight. They have a sleek and modern aesthetic that I find really appealing. I appreciate how they not only look good but also keep my ears warm during the colder winter months. The cushions are surprisingly soft, and I was pleasantly surprised by their larger size. This added size helps to distribute pressure, making them comfortable for extended wear. However, I will say that if you keep them on for too long, you might start to feel some discomfort. One of the practical features I love is how easily they can be placed around my neck when I’m not using them. This makes them incredibly convenient, especially when I need to take a quick break. Additionally, I’ve noticed that they don’t make me sweat much during the summer months, which is a big plus. They also operate quietly enough that others around me hardly notice I’m wearing them, providing a nice sense of privacy and allowing me to enjoy my music without feeling self-conscious. Overall, despite the wear and tear, these headphones have proven to be a fantastic investment. They deliver excellent sound quality, comfort, and practical features that enhance my daily routine. I look forward to using them for many more days to come!

Amazing battery life, great comfort, noise cancellation, and sound quality.
These are excellent. First, the battery life, it is incredible. I can use it for several days in a row non-stop, which is great because sometimes I forget/don't have a chance to plug it in at night. This is even with noise cancelling on - I can only imagine it will be much more significant without it on. It connects quickly and efficiently, removing a lot of the issue with pairing it to multiple devices. I've even found it can be simultaneously linked to two separate devices - for instance, my work phone and my personal phone, or my phone and a computer. Amazing not having to constantly switch back and forth. Occasionally, it will have a bug with facebook messenger calls, but I think that's facebook's problem, not the headphones. These are extremely comfortable on the ears and head, though they are a bit bulky and hard to use with high intensity activity, such as high impact running, jumping, dancing, etc, but if you're careful and aware then they will work just fine. The sound quality is quite good, though it lacks a deep heavy bass that one might hope for - that said, for the price these are, you will not find a better sound quality. I've found that you need to approximately double the price of headphones in order to get equal sound quality. The noise cancellation is good, I don't have much to compare it to, but I have found it very useful for blocking out minor distractions, even without any audio playing through them while the noise cancellation is active. If you're on a budget, you won't find any other purchase where the dollar to quality ratio is so amazing. Easily, these headphones could be marked over $100 and still be worth the money.

LED Indication InOp; NC subpar; Sound Very Good; Comfort Good
[Updated review; added a star after working with seller and receiving the Q30 as replacement} Q20 LED issue still works as described; seller states that the manual needs updating to reflect actual LED operations. LED operation is minor; expect most folks to be able to know when they have headphones connected and operating. [note: Q30 LED also does not operate as manual states, but LED does indicate connected when operating.] Q20 NC is still subpar; Q30 NC is very good with several modes. [Note: Q30 requires phone app to access all the modes and change modes; no Windows app to access Q30 NC and Equalizer modes.] Q20 and Q30 both have excellent sound and comfort. Both connected and reconnected easily (note some computer hardware/software may have minor connection issues) Sound tested with YouTube headphone test videos and several music genres. My primary use with headphones is computer Windows, including on planes. So connectivity and access to features with Windows is prime for me. So Q30 features not accessible via Windows limits full feature; but if NC is in plane mode and default equalizer is all I need. --- --- 2 sets. Worked with Manufacturer. Manufacturer states at full charge a steady blue LED. Neither set worked that way. Red LED during charging, no LED at full charge and still plugged in. When connected no LED indication (usually slow blink); Manufacturer said it should slow blink. NC was weird. Heard no difference in sound quality (no compression) when NC on but it definitely limited the low frequencies. But noticed that the volume went up by 1/4 to 1/3. So some of the NC was gained by increasing volume. Other sets NC volume was the same NC on/off but the low aircraft type frequencies cancelled. Would say less NC then other headphones in this price range. Now the good: Sound quality very good. Tested on several music genres and sci-fi movies. The ambient space noise/sound was very good and put you in the scene. My old ears clearly heard 25Hz to 15KHz with YouTube test videos and passed all the tests of several test videos used. They felt very comfortable with my old guy glasses and would be able to wear them all day with the usual breaks every 60-90 minutes for a minute or two. Was close to keeping them due to sound quality and comfort. Decided no go due to the LED issue and subpar NC. They were aimed for my travels on airplanes and in noisy environment on the road. LED issue may cause battery to be left on since there is no indication of 'on' when connected. NC is main feature of travel headphones. The manufacturer and I traded many emails on LED and other connectivity issues. They were 'iffy' connecting to main computer, but no issues on the travel laptop. [note: many other headphone reviews mentioned connectivity non uniform across all computers, so more of a computer hardware/software issue in my opinion] So both the original set and 2nd set going back. Others may find the mentioned issues less important.

Perfect for the Price
I think people are being a little unfair here. For the price, you are getting a ton of features found in other, higher-end headphones. That being the case, yes the build quality is A BIT on the cheaper side. Even so, I found these headphones incredibly comfortable. The flexible connectivity options has made this an instant staple for when I travel and the long battery life certainly helps as well. Since giving it a full charge, I have used it to watch an episode of The Boys, several episodes of Blood of Zeus, and close to 4 hours listening just to music. The battery still reads as high. As for sound quality and noise cancelling, I enjoy the tone of the music. It is a bit muted and less dynamic compared to some of my other headphones, but the clarity is incredible. The noise-cancelling itself is pretty great for filtering out static sounds, the wind, etc. There is a significant difference between the feature being on or off. Will you still hear that car's horn blaring as your lack of attention causes you to step out into the crosswalk? Sure. But it still gets the job done just fine. You can do a lot worse at this point and hardly better. My suggestion to others out there... keep your expectations in check. For a $50 pair of versatile, comfy, noise-canceling headphones, Anker's Soundcore Life Q20's are certainly worth 5 stars.

Thumbs up to cost, connectivity, sound and call quality
Opened them up, put them on and haven’t taken them off in two hours. Came with half battery power availability and connected to my phone plus computer simply. First noise canceling headphones so I can’t compare to others but I am happy with the cost, sound, speed of delivery and build quality. I made a phone call to my mom because she is a great judge of phone call quality and loves to chat. She said I sounded great so take it for what it’s worth. Bottom line call your mom or dad or a loved one just for the sake of it. I have walked around my house and haven’t lost connection yet. I ordered the Q20 with the case and glad I did as it makes everything feel premium, clean and organized. Only complaint is the micro usb included charger. No means a deal breaker but just a feel of inconvenience as this is an outdated tech and something extra to carry/plug in. I understand the Q30 have the usb-c but then I’m getting into uncomfortable cost zone, abandoning why I bought the h20 in the fist place (yard work). Concerning bass per other reviews, I don’t feel these are really bass heavy like they claim, just enough. So far so good.

Really good sound and well built comfort for a modest price. SIX Headsets COMPARED
Comparison of 6 Headphones of similar price & features I've tested a bunch of headphones in the $40-60 range so I may come back to this review with others in mind. My objective was to find a really strong audio performance for music, so I did not evaluate Noise Cancelling (did try it but didn't test it comparatively and it seemed to work OK on all of them) or use the mike. All of these can be used with a phone and can answer calls, again not a feature tested. I tested each with a specific playlist that included variations in dynamics, bass and treble emphasis including songs with substantial changes and mixes, and different genre including pop, rock, prog rock, and acapella. I used a Macbook Pro laptop and iTunes, I experimented with different Equalizer settings to get the best sound with each headset. Soundcore Q20 – $59.99* Ultimately these are the headphones I decided to stick with.and gave them 5 stars for sound in the price category. Most comfortable, seems to be the better made, bass not as boomy as on the NC35 good fidelity. I used my equalizer to tone the bass down and liked these a lot; for those wanting to go the other way they do have a bass boost that was nice in the right places. I wanted to like them better than the Monoprice set but honestly the Monoprice is so close it's very subjective. I liked the heavier feel and better fit, the sound once I equalized it was really good. However I notice in addition that these have the best Bluetooth performance of the bunch; I can be as much as ten feet farther from my laptop and still have good sound, whereas the others would be breaking up or offering no sound. So in a close competition the slightly higher price didn't really matter and the solid feel and comfort did, the sound was the best in the group though the Monoprice and the Vankyo were very competitive. Cowin E-7 $49.99* Comfortable and interesting control setup. But I could not get them to enter the pairing mode and the instructions were very unhelpful. I tried them corded to the computer and was not impressed with the sound. Overall it was muddy at every frequency. The bass was strong but not distinct. Eventually they did enter pairing and the sound was no better. I would not buy these even if I had been able to pair them at first. UPDATE: Their customer service has reached out to me more than once to offer me a better product at no added cost and suggest that perhaps this headset was defective. Since I am settled on what i have I've declined but they do have good customer service. Srhythm NC25 headphones $38.29* The bass was overdone and overtopped the treble and mids; rendered a bit of a muddy sound. Not bad really but I would suggest you can do better for the money. See Monoprice BT-300 and Vankyo C-750. Srhythm NC35 headphones $46.49* Clear, really good sense of position for every instrument and voice, good battery. I bought these right after buying the earlier/lower line Srhythm NC25 headphones. Compared to those these feel and look about the same but sound noticeably better. Understand I like a strong bass but the NC25 boomed enough to drown out some of the other sounds especially the treble. Overall they gave a muddy sound to a lot of music. By contrast while that can happen any well-produced track has far less booming and just a good base, and the amount of L-R separation, the precision with which sound location varies on these is really quite excellent. Monoprice BT-300ANC – $39.99* I tried these as Consumer Reports rate them a best buy. Not as comfortable or as solid feeling as the Soundcore but not bad. Less effective ear seal. Very good treble response and generally pretty well balanced sound. If you want booming bass this not your choice, but if you are looking for “fidelity” and balance these are pretty good. However the battery is 300 mah and the manual says 17 hours operation, the shortest of any in the group. Tempting at the price; a good buy for the money. If you are looking for low cost headphones these are worth your consideration as the sound rises above the price. Vankyo C-750 $44.99* in silver, 25% discount mades these very attractive option! They are very comfortable and noticeably lighter than the Soundcore. BT range typical for the group. Sound is good, not superb. 40 Hr claimed charge. I would say I was torn between these and the Soundcore, they have a nice bright sound and did fine with bass. I suspect I could equalize to get close to the sound the Soundcore produced but in the end I felt the Soundcore was just a little better and the $15 lower price just isn't enough to make me switch. *Prices shown are the actual cost at Amazon including coupon discounts but excluding tax; all got free Prime shipping.

Great Piece of Gear
These headphones surprised the heck out of me. I work a gig that requires a lot of travel. About six months back my wife bought me the most expensive Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones. I was very appreciative and they were great. Well she started using them for PubG Gaming on her phone while I was not traveling. She loves using the Bose over of EarPods or anything else. When it came time for me to travel I could see the sadness in her eyes that I would be taking the Bose for a few days. She said, “Ya know I would really love a set of these one day hint hint.” So at work I’m stressing about spending another $300 something on a second set of Bose. I decided that I would try to find a reasonable replacement for my Bose and make the Bose, hers. I read reviews on quite a few models on Amazon and settled on these. I am writing this from a flight right now on their wifi. These headphones are just as loud and crisp as the Bose, if not louder. The Noise cancelling is good to go. Just as good as Bose. No difference. For some reason you have the option to disengage the Noise Cancelling with the touch of a button on these, not sure why you would. I have yet to take these headphones on a lengthy international flight (Covid-19 times), so as far as actual battery time, I do not know yet. These headphones are not jet black like Bose. More like a dark charcoal grey or smoke. I will say the Bose look a little sexier. If you want affordability awesomeness - These babies are loud and proud and you will not hear anything related to the aircraft noise. Loud. Damn loud.

Best Headphones in the Price Range
I would like to say that I am an audiophile but I am not. Having said that, I would say these are the best headphones I have ever owned. I bought them on a whim because they were on sale and I’m a big fan of Anker products. While the noise canceling is not the best I have ever used, it’s decent enough for my usage. The sound quality is great though. It has enough bass without being overwhelming and the mids and highs seem pretty good to me as well. When I first received them I wasn’t too sure about the sound quality. I don’t use headphones that much so I wasn’t willing to spend a lot of money on Sony or Bose. I tried them out a little bit on some music as well as some gaming and thought they were decent. Once I gave them another test and compared them to a similar set of headphones from another company in the same price range is when they really stood out. The other pair of headphones on it hollow and lacking in all areas of the audio range. I truly appreciate these headphones now. Maybe Bose and Sony are better. They should be for the price. I think these are a great pair of headphones for most people though. Nobody should have to spend several hundred dollars for headphones. One other critique is don’t even try with the BassUp feature. It seems pointless to me. All it really does to my ears is make the bass sound different. I don’t feel like it boosts it at all. It just sounds weird after turning it on. It also includes an excellent hard shell case for storage.
