Keeps your WiFi secure
Xfinity was not keeping my WiFi secure. I live in a condo with 7 other units in my building. 8 devices consistently were consistently connecting to my WiFi without any notification. I changed my password per Xfinityโs suggestion, which did nothing. In researching further, I read that other devices actually connect through the building wires. Great if you own your own home, but not so good in a condo or apartment. I also found a recommendation for this filter. It was very easy to connect to the modem cable. The unapproved devices were immediately able to be disconnected. Should Xfinity have this built in to their modems? Of course! But until they get a clue, this is an affordable solution for only you getting what youโre paying for from them.

Xfinity Custys Come Here...Look at This!!!
If you have Xfinity/Comcast internet service and live in a large apartment building/complex this is a must! Are you having random and unknown devices show up on your Xfinity app? Are devices randomly connecting and appearing to use your internet service, then this is what you need. Xfinity will never admit this but this was a life saver. This was super easy to install and got rid of those unknown devices in less than 5 mins. Do not waste your time talking to those incompetent Xfinity reps on the phone. Just purchase this and have a piece of mind, and stronger internet speed/connection.

Works as intended in MoCA setup.
Bought for a MoCA setup, works perfectly. Bi-directional so you shouldn't need an extra coax if connecting to the incoming provider line.

Great item cable co. Does not offer this help . ๐
Plug and play shot my signal speeds up 125% wish I'd found this gadget 2yrs.ago .Cable companies jerk you around saying it's this and that but NEVER offer any type of filters like this. Must have cable coax for it to fit attach to back of router and hang on !!!

Works for the most part!
I moved into an apartment that Comcast said was free from any interference and would be a quick and easy self install. Sure enough I started noticing a ridiculous amount of devices connecting to my password protected gateway. My internet would drop constantly. I mostly use it for streaming services, sometimes my VR headset and for when I work remotely. After installing this I am FINALLY able to work from home. Prior I couldn't connect to our company VPNs, I'd get kicked out of our remote server programs, etc. I do have a problem every now and then, but it is so few and far between that I don't care. My streaming services work better, my online games are loading as quickly as they should. This was a life saver.

Buy this is you have Xfinity in an apartment complex!
If you live in an apartment and have Xfinity, YOU NEED this. I had constant issues when I moved in with a bunch of random peoples devices connecting to my WiFi, but NOT my own. Then, my OWN devices would say they are paused but did not show up on my device list to unpause! Super frustrating. After many visits to the Xfinity store, them giving me a new modem etc., each time they would just says โit seems to be working fine.โ Well clearly is WASNT! After installing this piece, this literally cleared it right up. All of my neighbors devices went away and my own devices connected almost immediately. All I did manually was forget my neighbors devices once they were disconnected. I am TELLING YOU! If you have a problem in an apartment with Xfinity, this is the solution. Just buy it ๐ well worth the $15 over useless Xfinity technician visits.

Quick and easy
I added this to the point of entry for my coax cable as part of a MoCA installation. Fit perfectly and does the job.

Sorta does it's job.
Got this to stop the phantom recordings on my Xfinity DVR's. It cut down the occurrences but didn't stop it completely. Xfinity is just garbage to begin with, at least this helps a little. For the price I'm not to upset about it.

Quick plug-in solution
If you've gotten this far, you already know that you need this. It's cheap, it's easy to setup. Works in my MoCA 2.5 setup - I simply plugged this in where my house coax entry point is (the antenna) just before the splitters that send it across the house in the attic.

Planning MOCA over coax, installed where cable originates from outside to inside my home.
Was planning on implementing MOCA over coax, installed this where cable originates from outside to inside my home. Didn't get MOCA yet, but this is installed into a 1-to-4 coax splitter (be sure to use 5-2400Mhz). No adverse effects on tv cable or cable internet.

Automatically improved 5-10% speed
Took notes of multiple runs on Ookla speedtest and it automatically granted me a gain of ~5-10% speed over wifi routers that receive the signal through MoCA. Also delivers its main feature, which is isolation of signal (doesn't leak outside premises).
