Love it!
Love this fishing shirt! Iโm 5โ3โ 142pd and it fits perfect! Light weight and perfect color! Love that the sleeves have an extra button to make tighter at wrist. Havenโt washed it yet, but so far exactly what I was looking for!

Great shirt for sun protection
Shirts with buttons are really not my thing but after trying several long sleeved shirts without I decided to give this style a go. My husband says it really suits me, so much so that I'm about to order a second in a brighter color for when we go on vacation with friends. I got the dark green this time because I want it for gardening and dog walking and it's actually a nice color. The shirt is comfortable and very light weight, though I am still hot in it because I live in Houston Texas and anything is hot when it's 90 +. Most importantly it covers all of my arms and neck which as I've got older get horribly red and itchy in the sun, even with sunscreen. The only thing I don't like is that the arms seem big, but I need the large for my body. I wear size 8 in jeans and generally do wear large in most shirts, other than some square-style t-shirts where I can get away with medium.

Runs small through the hips
Loved the shear light weight material. The 3X shirt was tight across my hips, unable to button. Also the sleeves are a bit long., but I could change to the second button. Since I purchased it to wear while gardening, I'm debating if I should keep it.

Great Shirt
This is a great shirt that's just as good as/if not better than Columbia/REI UV protectant shirts. I needed something quick for a "jungle/safari" themed work event and didn't have time to physically shop for anything. Turns out this feels great, is made well and pretty much lays exactly as shown on the model. The little black and white sleeve holders are cute and its easy to roll the sleeves if you're hot. I've washed it and it came out perfectly. (A steamer or Wrinkle release easily takes out any wrinkles. Had to do that when it came initially.) Per others- it runs on the larger size for sure. My shirt size is medium mostly; sometimes small. I ordered a small which again- fits as shown on the model except maybe a little tighter in the chest. This isn't something I wanted fitted. If you're looking for a tailored, tight look either order really small or find something else. I'd expected this as sort of a one-use type shirt and actually find myself wearing it regularly. Super easy to throw on over leggings or skinny jeans and it's really comfortable. The materials feels better to me than my Columbia shirts. If I didn't have two of those shirts already I'd buy another one of these.

Mixed feelings and uncertain about UPF claim
UPF ?: I had a minor surgery on my arm and the dermatologist said the #1 most important thing I can do is keep the scar protected from the sun for at least a year. So here I am, preparing to spend the spring and summer in UPF long sleeves, yay! This shirt is thinner than I expected, to the point that I can't trust that it's actually UPF 50+, not to mention the tag on the shirt says UPF 40+ (see second photo). The fabric is translucent and you can clearly see your hand through the shirt if you hold it up to the light (I tried to take a photo one-handed. It's not the best picture, but you can see my fingers through the fabric.) I have since looked at some other UPF 50+ clothing in stores to compare, including a very similar Columbia shirt. Though the material on name brand UPF 50+ clothing was also thinner than I would expect (which was slightly reassuring about this shirt), it was not quite as translucent. Overall Look and Feel: I'm not sure how to think of this top. It is definitely lightweight. The material is what I would call flowy. It seems like it would be great to wear hiking, it's so lightweight you would barely know you're wearing it. But because the material is so thin, it makes the shirt look pretty formless, and it just sort of drapes over your body instead of looking like a traditional Safari shirt or button up. Sizing: I'm 5'5" 150 lbs, usually in between small and medium. I ordered a size medium because I wanted to make sure I could button the shirt... It's HUGE. I put it on and actually laughed. It felt like I was wearing a parachute over my body. I'm debating ordering a size small in this shirt, to see if I could make it work. I'm thinking of also buying a Columbia to compare the two. But in the back of my mind I can't help but wonder about how much UV protection this shirt would actually give me, and that's all I'm really after.

Super nice safari shirt!
Love this Safari shirt. The fit is so nice, the fabrics thin and will be cool when Iโm on safari this summer. This particular brand not only has a back vent, but side vents on each shoulder back. Nice details for holding rolled up sleeves. I just purchased a second one, so very pleased with this shirt!

Protected me from the Saharan sun and heat during June!
I got a wonderful opportunity to visit Egypt, but my visit had to be during June, when the daily highs hover around 100 and the sun is punishing. This shirt kept me from getting sunburned, kept me cool, was easy to clean, and was completely appropriate for places where modesty was requested (like mosques) as well as nice restaurants for dinner. It has a sneaky inner chest pocket that was great for placing things like earrings I purchased that I wanted to keep safe. The texture is light and doesn't feel plasticky at all; I usually hate any kind of dry-fit tops because I dislike the feeling of polyester. This was as comfortable as a t-shirt, and was cut sufficiently generously that my buttons stayed closed instead of gaping in the front. This top kept me cooler than 100% cotton or cotton/linen blends did... the only problem was that I am wearing this shirt in all my photos because nothing else kept me cool around Cairo and the pyramids! I plan to buy several more in other colors because it's just as effective for humid Southern summer weather.

40+ UV on label (not 50+) and no promised interior locker loop
I purchased this shirt for a trip to North Africa, so was disappointed to find that it only offers 40+ UV protection, not the 50+ indicated. I also wanted the 'interior locker loop' mentioned in the description for easy hanging for drying, but it is missing. Overall, however, I prefer the fabric of this item over the Columbia shirt of the same style. Others mentioned how thin the fabric is, but to me that is an asset. It feels more breathable, especially if your skin detests man-made fabrics as much as mine does. The size runs large. I am 168cm and 55kg (slightly built). The XS is plenty big enough. I don't know if this shirt will ultimately be suitable for its intended use, but I guess it will be handy for gardening in the Australian sun.
