Acai (like most berries) does have a VERY low amount of its natural sugar per serving.  HOWEVER, according to the FDA "Labeling Requirements" - 21 CFR 101.9(c)(6)(ii), the label can list "Total Sugars" section as ZERO if the "total sugar" content is less than 0.5 grams as stated below:
