This pet carrier is amazing!
I am so happy with this product. I’ve never seen such a well-designed, well thought out bag. It has everything. I bought it for the expandability because my dog isn’t exactly “small” - she’s a 20 pound king Charles cavalier. But, I’m also loving the pockets, the tether to secure her in the crate so I can leave the door open, it’s padded, and it stores nearly flat so it takes up very little room. The visibility is wonderful and makes my dog feel a lot more secure since she can face either direction and see where we’re going. The top loading is really helpful because she doesn’t love going in through the side door, but once she’s inside, she’s fine and despite her size she was able to turn around with the bag in the unexpanded position. There are so many zippers that I can access her from nearly any angle. I have not tried this on an airplane yet, but now that I have it, I feel like I will - I have been reluctant to fly with her, not knowing if she would actually fit in an under the seat carrier. The bag feels sturdy, and I am able to carry her using the shoulder strap. Obviously, it hasn’t been long enough to know how it will hold up with repeated use but first impressions are amazing and I would definitely recommend it if you’re on the fence.

Perfect for my 17lb Pooch 🥰
My 17lb mini schnauzer hates crates and carriers so I was REALLY nervous flying with him across the country. l searched all of Amazon and Chewy for the perfect doggie carrier and reluctantly decided on this one (TBH my expectations were really low because I wasn’t 100% sold on ANY carrier). However, this carrier was so much greater than I could have imagined! My dog had plenty of room to turn around and even was able to curl up in his usual ball to sleep with a ton of room at the opposite end of the carrier. Additionally, we carried him all across the Denver airport and a few layovers with 0 issues in bag quality - the straps & handles are extremely durable. The bag extenders were great, but the bag was a lot larger for my dog than I expected so I didn’t even need to use them! One thing to note: the carrier did not fit under the seat fully in the 737, but it was within airline standards(ish) for United. However, I realized that no doggie carrier in airline sizing would fit fully or comfortably under the seat. Overall, absolutely love this bag and very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend to anyone who is a bit worried about a larger pup 🙂

Best carrier I’ve used
I bought this for my chihuahua mix- 13 lbs, about 18 inches long. She loves it. I like that I can expand it to give her more space while in the airport. It fit under the seat in breeze plane. I added extra Velcro as suggested by others in their reviews.

Good Pet Bag - read for warnings with certain airlines
Overall, satisfied with the pet bag. The ability to expand on all sides is a really nice touch, it definitely adds more room for your pet. I would say one improvement would be a sturdier bottom - since it is the same material on all sides there really is not support underneath for your pet (understandably why some of the complaints on the bag are saying the strap broke easily). The bag does meet airport requirements and will fit underneath the seat, even with one end expanded. We flew our 24-pound mini goldendoodle. It was a tight squeeze without the side expanded since she does have tall legs. She was able to turn around easily, but did not stand completely when the bag was closed. Overall she looked very comfortable sleeping/laying in the bag on the flight, especially with the expanded side. Just an FYI to those flying their pets for the first time - American Airlines is extremely strict. They will UPHOLD that the pet needs to be able to stand fully upright and turn around, regardless of the pet fitting/looking comfortable in the bag. They will not allow you fly. Additionally, they will ask for your ID and ban you from flying with pets for future flights. Needless to say, we won’t be flying with American any longer. Our pet was allowed on Delta with hardly any issues. They did ask to see if she fit in the bag, but they did allow us to expand it upon inspection and saw that she was comfortable. Way better service and much more understanding than AA.

Was good on Delta commuter small plane
I am writing this because I searched long and hard to figure out which pet carrier to use while taking my 25 pound dog on a airline flight and wanted to give info for others who are in the same perdicament. With not much info, I read a few reviews about this one and decided to try it. This carrier worked very well! It was like having a duffle bag that sat on top of my suitcase while walking through the airport and lifting onto the floor with my dog inside. It was sturdy enough to hold my 25 pound Shiba Inu dog without buckling and yet could be scrunched down to fit under the seat on a Delta flight. It was well ventilated and the expanding sides and ends worked well to allow her to lay down and stretch out during the flight. Also, it folds down well and is easy to store. Probably the only thing I didn't like was the velcro pockets on the side for holding my dogs items. They came open easily and because of this I wish they were zipper closure but I'm willing to overlook that because overall this worked well for what we needed!

Good for me and cat.
Very easy to put cat into. Big enough for him to move, but not too big to be awkward to carry. Seems to be very well made.

Great buy, highly recommend
This has been my first experience flying with a small pet - I have a terrier mix with a bit of dachshund, 17 lbs, about 21 in long so a bit on the long side for carriers. This carrier has worked great for us - so far we've been on 2 round trips, 8 total planes and usually 12-16 hrs of travel in a day, and the design of this carrier has relieved quite a bit of fatigue for my pup. Because he's a little long to be comfortable in the zipped up size, it's really nice while waiting in the airport to be able to unzip the mesh vents on each of the 4 sides and let him have room to stretch out and move around some. The carrier has to be fully zipped up on the plane to fit under the seat in front, but usually once we're at cruising alt, I'll unzip the sides to get some air flow going, and sometimes I can unzip the side facing me to give him some room too (don't tell on me LOL). It gets really really warm under the seats so it's great to have mesh available on all sides. I usually place the carrier longways, facing me, so it does stick out some toward my feet, but I've never had an issue with a flight attendant asking me to push it farther forward or anything. Maybe for a smaller pet the carrier could be compressed a bit to fit it sideways fully under the seat. It's handy that there are entry points in the front and back as well as the top - I can lead him in from one side and let him out from the other rather than have him turn around/back out or lift him out. There is a clip with a little tether inside - I don't keep that on most of the time because I'm concerned about him getting wrapped up in it, but if I'm letting him poke his head out the top a little, I'll put it on just in case he tries to bolt (big airports are spooky to a little guy). The pockets on the side are big enough to fit some treats, collapsible water bowl, a roll of waste bags, the shoulder strap, his leash, and a couple granola bars, and it's a tight squeeze but still doable. Speaking of the shoulder strap - gonna be honest, I never use this. Because of how it fastens (to the front and back of the bag), and because the bag is soft shell, it curves it up towards the two attachment points and doesn't provide support in the center. This is really uncomfortable for a fella trying to lie down in the middle. I always use the handles, which have the same kind of effect in the other direction across the bag, but that's okay because it just kind of "hugs" him and encourages him to stay lying down. Honestly I think the slight pressure helps calm him down. The downside of that though is you're carrying the bag the whole time by hand, which gets heavy quickly because it's kind of unwieldy. When I'm with him I usually estimate to double the amount of time it usually takes me to move through the airport - because I need to set the carrier down every so often, or switch hands, or set it down on the moving walkway and stand still where I'd normally keep walking (and I lift weights in my free time so it's not just a matter of personal strength). The shoulder strap is nice though when I am using the carrier just as a bag; I like to keep his supplies in there to carry around when not flying, and treating it like a normal duffel bag works just fine. Highly recommend for anyone flying with a small pet.

Dangerous for your pet!!
Update on the carrier: tried to get ahold of someone from the company to no avail. With no time to acclimate my pet in another carrier, I took it to a repair person who reinforced the connections. HOWEVER, in the airport, part of the strap BROKE AGAIN. This time it was the METAL HOOK itself. Literally snapped in half. Once again, my dog DROPPED TO THE FLOOR. We are lucky I didn’t fall on her. Idk what kind of cheap metal they use, but this product is straight up garbage. It feels sturdy, but what kind of metal attachment can’t take a 13lb bearing? I was stupid thinking it was just a connector issue with the strap and getting it repaired. So, after all that time, the carrier was useless. I had to carry my dog around like a duffel bag because there was no working strap. I cannot tell you how big of a pain in the you know what to carry her for 20+ hours internationally. I had to have a flight attendant help me on the flight bc it was so challenging trying to maneuver her case throughout the aisles. Buyer beware: If you care about your dog, and your quality of travel, look elsewhere. you’re better off lighting your money on fire than buying this crap. Original: Honestly really upset and disappointed. I have been training my dog in this carrier all month in preparation for our big international flight. She is a 15 year old elderly dog, with arthritis. She is a 13lb Bichon, so not that heavy. It should be noted that I haven’t even used it as heavily as I would in the airport. Just taking the carrier to and from the car in my driveway with the strap. Today I tried to take her into the pet store in her carrier (to train to be around different scenarios), and as I was walking up to the store, the loop that holds the straps broke. The carrier with my dog inside crashed to the ground, hitting the curb on her way down. My poor baby starting crying, because I know that probably hurt. I am really disappointed considering all the reviews. As well, all the time spent trying to get her to be acclimated to this carrier, imprinting her scent in the carrier, etc. This carrier is dangerous without better reinforcement. I haven’t even owned this for a full month yet, let alone used it heavily. I would recommend to the manufacturer to reinforce the straps better. In the meantime, find a better carrier.

Beautiful
It's so good like it is on the photo. My cat already slept in it. Thank you so much

Good quality and practical.
Sturdy and perfect size. Can expand to offer a 'playhouse' type kennel for short periods. Fully opens out which we have found useful in the past when transporting pets with mobility problems. This also helps with cleaning. Very pleased with this purchase.

One of the best products
This is by far one of the best products I bought for my cats. I put it up and left it on the floor and they immediately got curious. One of them stepped in at his will and took possession of it 😹. The only comment I have is that it won’t fit large sized cats, only two of my five would fit. The others need a larger carrier (or maybe a weight loss program).

Kitty condo extraordinaire
We moved across 4 provinces and knew the 6 to 8 hour days of driving would be hard on our kitty so we bought this carrier and it was perfect! I was able to open up the sides so he was able to see us and move around. He did great! And he loves it!! We're in our new house and he still lays in it. A safe space.
