What if my dog won't use it?

Most dogs transition to Bark Potty easily because plant-based fiber is a familiar natural surface. Place it where their current potty goes, use your normal potty cue, and reward the first use. Most dogs take to it within a few days.

How often do I replace it?

Replace it when you're ready for a fresh one. Just like cat litter, it depends on your dog, their size, and how often they use it. You'll know when it's time.

Does it smell or attract bugs?

No and no. Bark Potty is made with natural plant-based fiber that stays pest-free. Liquid drains through the fiber into the sealed bottom tray, keeping the top surface dry. When it's time for a fresh one, simply toss the entire tray.

Bark Potty weighs under 7 lbs, lighter than a gallon of milk. You can lift it and toss it with one hand. Customers with arthritis, back problems, or mobility issues specifically mention this as a major benefit.

How do I dispose of it?

Pick up the entire tray and throw it away. The whole unit is disposable. No touching anything soggy. No mess. The whole process takes under a minute.
