I’ve used just about every method of shaving. You can imagine (double edge safety razor, electric razors). After a few years of using a Panasonic Arc5, Arc6, Braun Series 9 electric razors, I was getting tired of razor burn, bumps and boring shave routines. In steps this Gillette heated razor! I can’t describe in words, the feeling you feel of joy when you use this heated razor. This makes you feel like you are receiving the King’s shave in the morning or whenever you shave. Stop reading this review and buy this razor. You will not be disappointed. Yes it’s pricey but we men have very little things to splurge on ourselves for. The heat helps open up your pores, thus making you less prone to ingrown hairs and razor bumps. I use Jack Black triple cushion shaving cream and a Muehle badger hair brush. Use the best lather/shave cream money can buy so you will get an awesome smooth buttery shave. The heat is really a nice feature and it does feel like a hot towel shave. Two passes and I’m done and have a glass smooth face. Gillette truly is the best a man can get. (Or the best a man’s wife can get him lol!)

The Gillette Heated Razor is the best razor I have ever had the liberty to use on my sensitive face. This razor cuts close to my skin and with no irritation. There's no pulling of hair, no razor bumps or bleeding from cuts or such. I don't have to press hard or shave the same spots over and over. The charging stand charges phenomenally, looks amazing and the razor works 6-8 times before needing charged again. The travel charger works really well and as a bonus, is also a convenient way to store the razor for travel. Every razor I have used up to this point caused a problem or failed to work well. This one gets rid of the air but all while leaving my skin perfectly fine. No hair & no irritation therefore I can't ask for anything better. Some complain about the price but I have learned in my life that the majority of time you get what you pay for. Hence, my lack of success for everything cheaper up to this point but not anymore! Cheaper would be better but not at the risk of quality. I can say that as it removes my hair I don't even feel it doing anything. Yet the hair goes bye bye and I don't feel or see a thing other than a gliding heated razor. Absolutely love this razor and will continue to be an ambassador for the razor and brand. Highly recommended product!

This is by far the best shave I’ve ever had. Expensive but very good shave. I was expecting a vibrating razor since it was a Gillette. It does what it said it’s gonna do. Warms up fast feels very good in the hand and is very sharp.

For Valentine's Day, I decided to get my husband this Gillette heated razor, knowing he has always been a fan of Gillette and Braun products. After conducting thorough research and observing which features worked best for him in the past, I had a strong feeling he would love the world's first heated razor. I especially love the magnetic design that allows it to charge while standing upright on its stable, sturdy dock. It charges quickly, and he can conveniently use it either in the shower or at the sink since it is fully waterproof. Honestly, I’m not sure which of us was more impressed with the quality. The heating sensation, combined with his shaving cream, left his skin feeling incredibly silky and smooth.

The end results are the same as the regular Gillette labs razor and the Gillette Pro-Glide, but the actual shaving experience way better It’s equivalent to swishing your razor into hot water, but you don’t have to do it every stroke. You can just keep going without any downtime Heats up instantly. No cooldown time. Handle is way bigger (probably due to rechargeable battery) giving those with larger hands; providing better grip The stand is okay. Have some heft to it. It does take up counter space if you plan to use it. Plus is also very large and protrudes out Cartridges are the same as the regular Gillette labs. The heating mechanism is actually in strip under the replacement razor A bit expensive, but may be worth it for those who like to save time (not having to dip and swoosh in hot water every stroke) for a better shaving experience while using the razor

I've used Gillette razors and razor blades since the past century. The razors, in my opinion, simply put, used to be superior and to be unequivocally designed for user safety and comfort. Each iteration of the razors, and the blades that went with these, was clearly intended to enhance personal comfort and to yield quality results in the users daily experience. I was an early adopter of this product, buying it shortly after it was introduced and paying quite a bit for it. Its early demise created a disgusting amount of waste; for example, the denial to the customer of an ability to swap its power source (rechargeable lithium ion battery) alone is a very environmentally unfriendly management decision by Gillette Labs executives, in my opinion. This product, in my estimation and experience, exemplifies what happens when a giant consumer products company buys up everything in sight and then proceeds to prioritize profit above all else. For an exceptionally high priced product to be of such low quality is truly awful. What I see is a rapidly accelerating pace in the devolution of quality, an unapologetic devotion to the bottom line and a gross loss of value in terms of customer experience. It speaks volumes on how bad decisions often may work out. A brand who once offered a product that never failed to now put forward this product, one that appears to be designed with early obsolescence as the guiding principle, is a breach of trust, to say the least. The blades that go with this razor, in my experience, feel like barely resharpened and possibly poorly recycled materials. Within less than 3 shaves, these become downright painful to use and will often cause a cut or abrasion if there is the slightest error in your stroke. Terribly distressing. The razor itself failed with no warning and very suddenly as if to ask: which is worse, the blade or the razor?! The Proctor and Gamble juggernaut seems concerned with only profit above all else, profit at any cost and with maximizing the number of units sold. For the long term, in my opinion, a strategy that cares only for the bottom line and evidences no care for offering high quality goods evidences no care for the customer. I was disappointed more than I can say by the utter and swift failure of this razor. My older razors, also made by Gillette, some of which are over a decade old, are still providing me with great and reliable service. This one, in my opinion, is a poster child for High cost Low quality, Over promise Under delivery.

Don't get me wrong, for what your getting, the gimmick is expensive. Thing is: heating element works. Only takes a few seconds to start and gets *warm*. Feels great (for what they're charging? It better...) and the heating element does have the "practical" benefit of not rapidly degrading the lubricating strip by constantly running it under hot water. I don't need this razor. Not even a little bit. But as far as "spare no expense manual shave experience" this is it. I'm glad my wife appreciates QOL purchases like this or else I'd be in the dog house. I used it for the first time yesterday. This razor is awesome! I was calling myself crazy spending $99 for this but I am so happy I did. I definitely say if you can buy it then do yourself a favor buy it now. You won't regret it.

After less than a year of use, the razor discharges after 2 shaves. Earlier it used to last one week. Is there a way to get better performance from battety - battery replacement etc. ??

El mejor rastrillo del mercado , sensacional premium y afeitada cómoda y fácil pero hay una cosa que NO me gustó en lo absoluto. La versión con estuche de viaje cuesta $1,000MXN (50USD) más, crei el estuche cargaba el rastrillo con una batería interna pero resulta solo carga conectado a la luz lo cual solo hace que tengas que cargar la base magnética que es algo pesada. En resumen, estás pagando mil pesos por un simple estuche cuyo único beneficio es “pesar menos que la base…” puedes comprar un mejor estuche en Amazon por mucho menos y hasta con espacio extra para meter más cuchillas algo que no incluye el estuche Gillette… Muy insatisfecho con la relación precio-producto, mejor compren la versión sin estuche y compren el estuche desde otro vendedor.

Muy buen rastrillo, tenía mis dudas en un inicio pero después de 2 meses usándolo casi diario, estoy bastante convencido, espero poder decir lo mismo después de un año
