Got it as a gift for my friend and she loves it. She’s had it for a year not and it hasn’t failed her yet. Great quality and super convenient to use. She says it does t clump and mixes well.

I needed a new chasen, and this one is good. I have had zero issues with it, and I have been using it for a few months now. It bloomed very nicely and evenly and has no broken tines. The handle I can tell has warped a bit, but I soak mine in very hot water before each use, which is probably the cause. As for the holder, it is super cute and a nice vibrant blue. It hasn't cracked or gotten any scratches, so no complaints here. I have no used the scoops yet but they appear to be of good quality.

Decided to purchase a holder for the chasen as I have the other items and decided to purchase this kit. As I wasn't sure of the color that I would get -- I like the blue color that was included in the kit. It fits the chasen perfectly. The other items as I didn't realize how much use my older chasen looked, decided to use this one instead. It works great with whisking the macha. So far I do like the quality of this brand.

I like the holder and it’s cute but the quality is so so. When I opened the whisk, a bunch of the “strings” have like extra shreds or splinters that are peeling off the brush. One of the ends was even bent I thought it was going to break off. I mean you get what you pay for. I’m planning to keep this one because I like the holder but I’ll probably have to end up buying new whisk in a few months.

I liked the matcha kit (bamboo whisk, porcelain whisk holder, bamboo matcha spoon, and bamboo stirring spoon). No bowl was included so I had to buy that separately. Was shipped from the USA. It could be cheaper if it were stocked/sold in India. Considering the competition, I think this is a decent buy.

Je l’ai pris pour tester la préparation du matcha “à la japonaise”, et pour le prix, c’est plutôt complet. Le kit contient les essentiels : fouet en bambou (chasen), cuillère traditionnelle (chashaku) et accessoires de base. C’est exactement ce qu’il faut pour débuter sans se compliquer. Le fouet fait bien le job. Il permet d’obtenir une mousse correcte en quelques secondes si on mélange bien en “M” La qualité est correcte pour un usage occasionnel. On sent que ce n’est pas du haut de gamme artisanal, mais pour s’initier ou pour un usage régulier tranquille, ça suffit largement.
