Low Profile Steel Wheel Stop for Car Parks and Garages 42x16x7 cm (Pack of 2)

Having just 'done-out' the garage after threatening to do so for many years, I decided to install one of these. Mainly because the washer and dryer now occupy the space at the end of the garage and I having measured, I know that the car will fit, but only just. So to save both the car, the washing machine and my reputation from the damage that minor dings can do, I decided we needed a wheel stop. There are plastic and rubber ones available but this one is sturdy metal. It came assembled, and with two heavy duty screws with which to secure it to the floor - although there is an alternative method, if the floor quality isn't stable enough. I simply parked the car in the correct position, then slid this under as a wheel choc to determine the correct position. Car then removed, a felt tip pen through the holes on the top of the wheel stop to make a mark on the floor for the holes. Some 10 minutes of vigorous, masonry bit blunting, hammer - drilling later and its ready to install. The screws/bolts go directly into the concrete, no need for any plugs, and have a hex head to facilitate tightening by use of a socket set and ratchet drive. It does the job its designed to do, and now I just gentry roll up to the stop, and I know the car is in the right place - stopped short of the washing machine, and clear of the door!

These are great. Really well made with solid build quality. Good instructions and easy to install. Also, not too tall, so if you have a low riding sports car, unlike the stinky rubber parking bumpers, these are unlikely to snag on the front apron (but please measure first!) Finally, delivered faster than suggested. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Simple to fix and looks tidy on garage floor. A little basic in construction but hopefully will protect front of car that is less than 75mm shorter than garage

Actually better than expected and working brilliantly. I have a particularly long BMW and the rear parking sensors would continuously 'buzz' when reversing into my garage. However, when exiting my car I was never quite far back enough (to close the garage door) and easily had another 6 inches of space between the rear bumper and rear garage wall. This 'stopper' enables me to reverse further back despite what my parking sensors are telling me. It is a good quality metal stopper which was easy to fit into my garage's solid concrete floor.

Something about this item that instilled a lot more faith in its' ability, as opposed to the plastic or rubber variants. I feel I was fully justified and actually only fitted one of the stops to the garage floor, which proved more than capable of doing the job it is intended for. Obviously, dependant on speed, there was no car body lurch at all, as it came into contact with the stop. I actually "pulled" the vehicle to the stop, rather than drive it up. Good quality, fully equipped item, I would highly recommend as fit for purpose. I may only have 2cm clearance front and rear of the car, but this product has eliminated the risk factor.

Bought this to avoid backing into a granite windowsill on a driveway where precise parking is needed to leave space for a second car. No problem fitting to cobblelock driveway. I was able to drill down through the cobbles to fit the item and the cobbles haven't shifted. Well built and robust wheel stop. Would recommend this.

Does the job, got this bolted to the floor of my garage and stops me going too far forward when parking the car.

Having researched this sort of wheel stop I plumped for this one, and very pleased I did. It was the best value I could find and the quality on arrival was very good. Haven't yet fixed it to the garage floor but anticipate no problems when I do so. The instructions were very easy to follow (although I don't think many competent do-it-yourself'ers will require instructions) then. All in all a good buy and good delivery.

Je ne l'ai même pas fixé au sol, il est simplement posé. L'idée étant de stopper les roues avant que la voiture ne touche l'escalier en bois juste derrière. En fait ça bloque bien car la roue appuie d'abord sur le butoir avant de le pousser donc ça tient sans problème et ça ne bouge pas.

Ottimo fermaruota in metallo. Si installa facilmente in quanto corredato da viti e bulloni necessari. Non necessita di particolari doti manuali (basta saper fare 2 buchi nel pavimento) o di grandi capacità tecniche. Per chi avesse il garage piastrellato si potrebbe optare anche per il fissaggio con bi-adesivo o colle siliconiche (non incluse) facendo attenzione a sgrassare la zona interessata prima dell'applicazione. ha una struttura decisamente robusta (lo si capisce anche dal peso) e resiste alle sollecitazioni che lo possono interessare, senza deformarsi o rompersi. Non ostacola il paraurti ribassato delle auto sportive e può essere usato quindi per ogni tipologia di veicolo. buon prodotto ad un prezzo interessante. Spero di essere stato utile 👍
