Lasted for 5 years and counting
I've used these for years at this point. They hold my head scarves well on my very slippery hair and round head. The Velcro is still holding up after all 5 years, and it hasn't stretched out. I do have a very small head, so it's a bit long for me- i have to velcro at the tightest point, but no worries -i just hide the leftover tail on the bottom, next to my head.

good enough if your skull is small enough
Pretty good but just a little too tight for my wider than average skull. Even at the loosest setting, it was tight enough to pop off or break the zigzag stitches, so this is not the product for me. Also, I don't like the way the edges are finished. For color and grip, they are nice. I might bust out my sewing kit and try to extend them before I give up on them.

Great for keeping head coverings on!!
I bought these in hopes of keeping my veil from sliding down and off my head so often and I was pleasantly surprised. These work great to grip the veil when you apply it against the grain of the velvet. The sewing was not impeccable in appearance but was functional in quality. This product was worth it for what I needed and would recommend for the same use to others!

Too small for my head
I definitely don't have a big head. Usually hats are too big for me. But these squeezed my head so tight I got a headache. Did not work for me, but seemed like good quality.

They work
Bought these to keep my headbands and silk scarves on my head and they do work BUT they hurt my ears and because they are on the thicker side they I get hot.

Velcro is KEY!!!
Most headbands can give me a headache. They're just too tight sometimes. These headbands are perfect!!! You can adjust to whatever tightness level you need. Plus they're made with velvet like material which keeps the headband from slipping off your head. Old headbands would slowly start creeping back on my head and then you have to re-adjust and fix and tuck hair back under. Not with these guys! Just wish there were more color choices.

Slides right off your head.
Do not buy! The grip for these is supposed to face forward and backward so it can grip on to the hair on the bottom and on to the wig or scarf on the top. Instead, the grip on these headbands was sewn in sideways and therefore it slides right off my head.
