Great book
As an architect outside of the US, this book gives me a clear picture of how an architectural practice is in the US. I like how ideas and basic managerial aspects of an architectural firm is shown here. Also, this book is clearly aimed to us in this industry - the packaging and page layouts of this book are very well designed. Lastly, I think the interviews with some of the popular architects add great insight. I do expected more information but at the price of this book, it'll suffice! I guess I just wanted to learn more.

great book, if you don't own it and you run an interior design company, buy it
I love this book. Easy to follow, well laid out, practical information. It's also designed with designers in mind, so aesthetically it looks and feels nice which, for me, makes it easier to take in the business-info. Love it, would buy it again, it is required reading for my assistants and interns.

A must for Design Professionals
I know Keith professionally and I had wanted to get his book for some time now. So happy I did! I've found it to be such an insightful & useful tool for planning the growth of my business and its full of clear examples of how to apply them. Kudos to Keith and his team...a must read!

Good for entry level knowledge
This book is a good reminder for things most savvy business owners already practice. I think it’s most helpful for a very young architecture firm that has not developed a business model yet.

A MUST read for everyone in the business of design and architecture
If you have your own firm and you don't have this book you should worry. It should be compulsory for anyone who wants to run their business in a professional manner to buy this book. I have my own design firm in Chile and the entire book is applicable to our office. Highly recommended!

Worth every penny!
I heard Keith speak in a class at UCLA and immediately went out to purchase his book - his ideas are brilliant. This book is great for anyone starting their own business - or running their own business, not just for designers!

Very good for just graduate designers, much less for a 3-4 years experienced designer. I would like a vol.2 with a more detailed focus on product/industrial design.

Um excelente guia e fonte de consulta para designers e arquitetos com qualquer nível de experiência. Minha única sugestão de melhoria: a versão digital merece imagens com maior definição.

Designer's are usually good at design but don't know much how to structure their business of design which is uber important to build a viable business, make money and keep doing for a long time
