This is my go-to moisturiser for my mom who suffers from psoriasis. It makes the skin soft and also de-tans it. It's October 2018 and I am still relying on Dermavive to calm my mom's skin. Now it's May 2020, still with Dermavive.

I have been using this and loving it. It is not greasy, kind of blends after a while. Locks moisture really well. Love it.

Dermavive eliminates "itching" of the skin. It may take several applications, but it relieves skin itching. Highly recommended!

This lotion, if you call it that, is really different than anything I have tried up to this point. It comes in an attractive presentation. The constancy of this is different from squirt to squirt, its like its not mixed well or has seperated in the bottle and one squirt can be 1 color and the next a darker color even after shaking the bottle. Some of it is oily and some of it is firmer. It is really wild stuff. I am not sure if that is normal for this product or not. The smell is fantastic and it smells like an oatmeal cookie. I really like the smell of it and it is not off putting to me at all. The hydrating seems to work well with cracks in my feet. Though Im a little put off by the fact it has paraffin liquid in it as there are valid concerns about its safety and efficacy that have been raised but They tell you that it is in there so you can make that choice yourself and I like that. Overall I find this to just be different in its constancy and not a go to product but something I would use once in awhile or as a backup. I would recommend this to anyone as long as they know what paraffin liquid is and are ok with that.

Although the tube calls this product simply a body hydrator, the description refers to it several times as a body oil. However, the description also says that it is fast-absorbing and non-greasy. This sadly wasn't the case for me. While this hydrates my skin well, it's very oily with a long-lasting greasy feel. Even if I use only a little or if I try to wipe off any excess, my skin still feels oily for quite a long time. The texture reminds me of a loose ointment. It's not as thick as an ointment, but it sits on the skin in a similar manner, leaving a sheen and greasy feel. Sometimes it has a lumpy appearance, but the lumps melt with the warmth of your skin. If I haven't used it for a few days, a thin liquid comes out when I open the cap. I have found that shaking the tube prior to opening it helps smooth the lumps and reincorporate the liquid for a better consistency. It's a somewhat translucent light brown color, and it has a fairly light almond scent. Almond is not my favorite scent, so I'm glad it isn't strong. To sum things up, I find this product delivers some great hydration to my skin. I just don't love the slow absorption and greasiness it leaves on my skin. If there had not been claims of fast absorption with a non-greasy feel, I would have given this product four or five stars. It just wasn't what I was expecting. Dermavive Body Hydrator 120ml (4.05 fl oz) - Ultra-Hydrating Body Oil is a body oil. It's a little lumpy and oily, but I have super dry skin that absorbs super quickly. It works great and leaves my skin feeling smooth and not as tight and dry.
