Works great

Batteries assemble easily, good solid fit in chamber, nice bright beam. Sighted weapon sight to align with bore sight at 20 yards. With my set-up this put the weapon sight about 2" high at 2 feet. removed and replaced the bore sight and the beams continued to join nicely at 20 yards, so I know the bore sight is well centered. Great product, highly recommend buying it.

The body of the "shell" is nice, heavy machined brass, and everything seems well made. The little box it comes in has cut-to-fit foam for the shell and the included batteries, so everything can stay organized. I deducted one star because I really wish it had an on/off button. It's a little finicky to deal with the 3 watch batteries every time you want to use it. As far as accuracy goes, I view this as a tool to aid you in practicing your mount. Trying to zero in a red dot for your turkey gun only using this bore sight probably isn't the best idea, but it should get you close enough to fine-tune on a patterning board.

I am using the MidTen 20-Gauge Bore Sight to improve my shotgun mount while practicing in my home. Previously, I mounted my shotgun in front of a mirror or while following edges of walls and ceilings. After mounting, I would check my mount by looking at the front bead on the muzzle of my shotgun. This lead me to the bad habit of checking my lead after mounting my gun while shooting clay targets and resulted in lots of missed targets. I then tried practicing my gun mount by inserting an LED pen light into the muzzle of my shotgun. This allowed me to focus on the target and eliminated the desire to check my front gun sight. However, the projected image of the pen light was too large to discern variations in mounting. I now use the MidTen 20-Gauge Bore Sight. With it installed in the chamber of my otherwise empty shotgun (always check first), I can continue to focus on the target the entire time while practicing and I can detect and correct subtle wobbles in my gun mount that would result in missed targets. Using the MidTen 20-Gauge Bore Sight , I am improving the repeatability of my gun mount and at the same time my scores have improved. So, while I can't comment on how the MidTen 20-Gauge Bore Sight works for bore sighting a shotgun, I highly recommend it for indoor gun mount (low to high) practice.

Working and double appreciate that it worked since Amazon packaged in oversized cardboard box with zero padding. Dang thing must have bounced big-time. And still works. Rugged! And bright!!

Bought this for my dad. Although I was not there to see it he said it worked well for him. He said it was a clear decent beam. I don't know the distances he used. The one I bought from same manufacturer for a .223 i used in low light conditions and at 25 yards really close distance compared to what was advertised and had a scattered beam the size of a pie plate and was useless to me

I had my green laser sight zeroed in just a few minutes. I can't imagine an easier way to sight in a laser sight than with a bore laser. I recommend throwing it in and out of the chamber a few times while sighting in to see if the focal point ever changes. This one is well made and very solid.

Works as advertised.

The laser sight moves slightly in the chamber. This product might work if your firearm is really off. But be careful with finer adjustments.
