Argh fooled again!!!!
guess it was my fault, I thought it was a working small type writer, not a tiny cardboard you put it together model. More confusing was the "Customers also purchased", so I did. Pretty hard to use a ribbon on a fake type writer. And the ribbon is at least 3X the size.

I did not order this item, When I recieved conformation of the order I tried to cancel the order but was unable to. This is not a typewriter, it is a tinny paper puzzel of a typewriter I think. cost was over $25. None of the instructions are in English.

It wasn't clear when ordering, but this needs to be put together by you. It comes in a very small bag, and is flat cardboard. You have to punch out each of the very small parts, and following Japanese directions (thank goodness for pictures), put it together yourself. I've completed it (minus the actual letters on the keys) and it is just as it looks. But, if you're looking for something quick as a gift, this really isn't it.

And it is a great kit and rewarding chalenge
In case you didn't know, this is not a real typewriter it is only a paper craft model. And it is a great kit and rewarding chalenge. The fact everyone is getting upset the thought the typewriter is real should be a complement to Sankei as the kit is pretty accurate considering it is nothing more than laser cut paper. Common guys, the description is clear this is one of the best paper craft kits I have ever put together. It was everything a model should be, frustrating and rewarding. It is so small, do not put it together on a carpet you will be sorry and you are warned. This was my first papercrft kit and I bought several more after this one. If you are as sadistic modeler who loves a challenge I would highly recommend it.

You are kidding me, right?!?
If it would let me put zero stars then I would. This is not a typewriter as advertised. It is a pack of like 3 index card sized pieces of paper....with some directions written in Japanese. Good job, guys! You got me!

LOL not a real typewriter!
I seriously thought it was a minute typewriter/label maker. It's a puzzle... LOL
