The lemon scent is bright and natural, wonderful qualities not artificial or overpowering, and it makes the whole shower smell like someone just zested a fresh lemon. It clarifies without leaving my hair squeaky or dry, which is a rare balance for a clarifying formula. The aloe is doing some real work here—my scalp feels refreshed, not tight, and my hair feels lighter and more manageable afterward. It also rinses out cleanly, no residue, no weird film. The bottle doesn't leak in the shower; unlike a few others I've tried.

I LOVE THE WAY THIS SMELLS! Just like a lemon! Lathers well, definitely will but again. Only thing be careful when getting some out, I guess I thought because it was in a tube that it would be creamy or thick, well it isn't. It is pretty thin like regular shampoo, I don't think you even need to squeeze the tube (I've only used it once so far) but I will pay more attention next time. Wouldn't want to waste any of this wonderful smelling stuff!

Luscious Locks!
My favorite shampoo ever! Makes my oily, fine hair feel soft and luscious, and keeps my hair from feeling and looking oily longer between washes than most shampoos. And I love the scent! Just all around love.

Very clean, very soft.
I really like this shampoo. The scent is light and seems like freshly- squeezed lemons to me. It doesn't persist in my hair and I kind of like that as well -- a scent that clings too long can seem oppressive at times. It leaves my long, straight hair very clean and extremely soft and easy to brush. I didn't even use a conditioner. I would definitely buy this again.

Really great shampoo
Excellent shampoo, leaves hair clean, shiny and full of body. Going back for the Apple. I used the scalp treatment first and both products made a difference in my hair.

Almost as good as the coconut
Like all Desert Essence shampoos, this is awesome! Smells wonderful and makes my hair feel great. I still prefer the coconut one though.
