The skirt is flattering, and the sheerness is good. It’s a little tight around the waist. I should have gotten the next size up. All in all, a very nice skirt.

I was a little hesitant to order this skirt because I thought that it might be too long. I'm 5'6" and it hits about 5" above my ankles which is perfect. I weigh 125 lbs with a 29" waist and the Medium fits perfectly. If you wanted to wear it a bit shorter, you can easily fold over the upper elastic waist area without it feeling bulky but you'd want to cover the folded area with a longer top if you did this. It would have been nice to have pockets but that might have added to much bulk around the hips. Overall, a great purchase.

I ordered 3 of these skirts in the denim color as I didn't know which I would like best and am returning 2. As for sizing, the chart simply says to "order usual size". I ordered both a Large and an Extra Large and didn't find the fit much different between them. I am 5'9" and weigh 145 Lb with a 34 inch waist and 40" hips. The wide band is very stretchy and can be rolled up if you wanted to wear it as a shorter length. It came to right above the ankle on me with the top of the waistband at my waist. I wanted a casual, easy to wash skirt to wear over my bathing suit and this will be perfect.

Jean skirts and I don’t usually get along, but this one is a keeper. It’s super light weight, which is great for me in Florida. I’m just under 5’4” so the skirt is a maxi on me, which doesn’t bother me. The tie on the waist is decorative only and can’t be used to adjust the waist size. I find the skirt mainly true to size, although on me, the waist is just a tiny bit large (not enough to bother me though). I love the white vertical stripes against the blue. It’s easy to care for—I put it in the washing machine and dryer, and it does fine. I haven’t yet worn it as a dress, but will probably do so next summer.
