relatively inexpensive and easy-to-install bidet
We are pleased with this relatively inexpensive and easy-to-install bidet toilet seat. The installation was not difficult. There were no problems and no leaks, and the result looked like it belonged on the toilet. Pros: - easy installation - good fit and appearance - the device/seat is not a cleaning problem - no wiring or electricity involved - no hot water hookup required - easy to use - effective operation (discussion below) Cons: - water is not warm, if that seems necessary to you - spray may not be perfectly aimed for you - will not clean you perfectly (would any bidet?) - you have to manage and operate the spray to avoid overspray If you haven't used a bidet before, all bodies and all poops are not the same, and a bidet may be more or less effective for your particular anatomy or delivery. In other words, don't expect to be perfectly cleaned by just the bidet. As a practical matter, we are cleaner and use less toilet paper now, and while sometimes paper is just used for drying, there may be some additional cleaning to be done. Position on the seat may matter, so besides adjusting the spray, you need to adjust your butt a bit to get the best result. Practice makes perfect. It isn't hard and beats the alternative of no bidet. Finally, one of our concerns going into this adventure was the fact that the water will be cold. it turns out that it isn't really a problem, and I don't miss warm water at all. In fact, if the water is cool, you can feel where the spray is going and use that to advantage.

Easy to install, efficient, well made.
I am really appreciating this very simple and easy to use Brondell toilet seat. Like many others, I did not want to redo my toilet room to accommodate an electrical outlet or ability to hook up to the hot water line. I have a seriously bad back and when the spasms flare it makes it is difficult for me to take care of business. Granted, it does not have the warm seat, warm water and some other features. But this Brondell gets the job done very efficiently. The water is not as cold as I had anticipated! It has the dual wands that work well. I think it is a very well thought out product.. easy installation and easy to use. No bells and whistles, but does what it was designed for. I have used the more high end models in other places, including Japan, and they are great but the end result is the same! Pardon my pun! I think anyone needing a bidet would be happy with this product. Well built, sturdy, easy to use… I highly recommend it. It is a great value for your money.

Great quality for an add-on bidet. One you go bidet, you don't go back.
Covid introduced me to the bidet and I hate toilets that don't have them. I get made fun of, but I just tell them when you go out and get your hands all muddy, do you just wipe them off with a ton of paper towels and call it good, or do you rinse them off under the sink and pat them dry with minimal waste? I know my preference and so does my tush. My first bidet wasn't a Brondell and it was just good, but looked cheap and out of place; too noticeable but did the job. Then I decided to try the Brondell and it's leaps and bounds better than the cheaper "ok" units. I liked it so much I bought another for the other bathroom. Quality of the Brondell is so much better, and it just looks better, almost like it belongs instead of some afterthought. I really appreciate the soft close lid, no more slamming in the middle of the night. This isn't a heated unit so you have to get used to that first cold splash. They say ambient temperature but let's be honest, it's cold! That may be my next upgrade, a heated unit, but so much more cost and prep is needed - maybe my next house. Install was easy, no leaks and no mess. Bidet feature is really easy to use which is essential since it sits off to the side and not very visible while you're sitting in place. Turn knob towards the front to wash up front, turn towards the rear to wash the rear. That positive click helps you locate the off position, right in the middle, without having to look. My first Bondell is as good as the day we got it and after a LOT of use. I will say my 2nd unit has recently introduced a squeak while turning the knob and that positive click is gone, I'm sure they are related and I'm guessing something with an internal rubber washer maybe? If it wasn't for that it'd be a perfect 5 star, so this recent issue knocks it down to 4. It still works great just not as easy to find the off position and I like it too much to get rid of it. I may take it apart and see if it's something simple. Even so, my next home will have these in place.

From "Grounds for Divorce" to "Five-Star Freshness"
One day, my wife casually uttered the phrase, "I am thinking about looking into getting a bidet..." Before she could even inhale to take her next breath, I flew to my Amazon app and smashed the "Buy Now" button with the speed of a thousand suns. When I proudly informed her of my lightning-fast consumerism, she started to express some hesitation. I immediately placed a gentle finger over her lips to shush her. "Babe," I whispered, "you're going to love this bidet. It will make your tushy so clean and fresh. Trust me." It arrived quickly. To ensure maximum romantic impact, I installed it under the cover of darkness while she slept. I even left the operating instructions resting elegantly on the lid so it would be the first thing she experienced upon waking up. As it turns out, reality did not match my cinematic expectations. A short while later, a blood-curdling roar erupted from the bathroom. It was a chaotic symphony of surprise, utter confusion, and raw fury, containing vocabulary words that are strictly prohibited by Amazon’s community guidelines. After some heavy stomping and aggressive muttering, she emerged from the bathroom to interrogate me. "Why in the world," she demanded, "would you think it was a good idea to purchase a device that blasts cool water at the speed of light at your backside like Nurse Ratched attempting an enema?! In a complete panic, I turned the knob all the way the other direction, only to experience what can best be described as a targeted assault by a waterjet attempting to reassign my gender!" I slept with one eye open for a 48-hour frozen containment period, but it has now been a few days, and she has officially started talking to me again. Miraculously, we have achieved a breakthrough. With a little practice on the exact physics of the control knob, she has decided this bidet is actually a fantastic upgrade to our hygiene routine. She has even admitted that the cool water feels somewhat nice—provided it isn't assaulting you while you're half-asleep. She is very pleased with the comfort of the seat and the overall ease of use. From the installer's perspective, it was incredibly easy to set up (which I was profoundly grateful for when I initially thought I’d have to uninstall it to save my marriage). I find it quite nice to use as well. Pros: Exceptional cleanliness, easy installation, ultimately saves your marriage. Cons: High-pressure setting doubles as a riot-control water cannon. Proceed with caution.

Game Changer
My husband has been nagging me to get a bidet since I bought him one years ago. I finally decided it was time and went to purchase the brand I bought him. Name brand; colloquialism for your backside. It was going to be around $250. Wasn’t really jazzed about that at the moment. I decided to do some brand comparisons and Brondell seemed to fare quite well. From what I gleaned the other brand spends a lot on marketing. So I went ahead and got this Brondell model. The whole “no tools needed” is not universal. I needed tools. In fact I needed my handyman because my valves are hard to get to. But even if exposed I think I’d need a wrench to get the parts tightly connected. However the set up IS very easy. It helped to watch an online video. The only reason I couldn’t do it was because of my particular situation. But I got pretty far before I had to stop and get help. So now it’s on my Toto toilet. Seat fits great and dare I say it’s more comfortable than my Toto toilet seat. It looks good. It’s not crazy bulky. The design is very smart. I have a tight space on both sides of the toilet and it fits perfectly. My husband’s bidet has a panel that is annoying to clean. This just has knobs so no issue there. I finally used it this morning. Wow. Wow. Wow. Just wow. Talk about clean. The angle of the jet is perfect. My husband’s bidet takes some adjustments or you get a blast of water on your back. It’s kinda like The Wizard of Oz where everything is black and white but then changes to color. My eyes are open to the joy of the bidet. I feel so clean. I’m getting another one for the guest bathroom.

Good value, works great
Very easy to install and very easy to use. Only one knob. Twist it forward for front and backwards for backside. It doesn't have warm water but that's ok, it gets the job done. It also looks like a normal toilet seat instead of some contraption. The price is great compared to others I've seen. A friend recommended this one to save money and I'm glad because it saved me time looking thru so many online!

Good, only problem is with the metal water line
Generally, we really like this upgrade. It's a little harsh compared to others we've tried, but it was easy to install and gets the job done. One thing is that the water line that comes with it is rusting or getting discolored, and we've only had it a few months. I've looked in the hardware store for a replacement, but couldn't find one with the same ends on it.

Now I’m Clean
I’ve been using Bidets for a long while. I purchase my Brondell Bidet a year and half ago (Dec 22’) as a back up. My Japanese brand still works fine but the supply line at the joint had issues after many years. Took out the Brondell and replaced it. Here in Singapore we follow the British std so when I receive my Brondell bidet I got myself familiarise with the American system and went hunting for adapters/accessories to our local sanitary suppliers to look for hardware that can incorporate with the American std and when I had to replace my existing bidet to the Brondell yesterday (20 June 24’) I faced no issues. Probably will order another one as back up again. 👍🏼

Has US plumbing fittings NOT UK. You will need to get adapters,
Has US plumbing fittings NOT UK. Contacted seller to ask for UK kit, was sent link for Brondell and they don't have UK kit either. So you will need US to UK adapters to be able to plumb in UK.
