SportDOG Add-A-Dog Collar for SportHunter 1225X and 1825X, Waterproof

I have an Australian cattle dog who loves to swim and chase ducks, not always when I want her to. So this collar is very handy when she decides she's going to do what she wants to do regardless of what I am asking of her... Needless to say, given it is waterproof, up to 25 ft, now I only have to buzz her to get her attention. Way easier than trying to chase after her chasing the ducks on a pubic lake...

This is our third collar for our third frenchie. He rarely has to wear it, he's the good boy...lol Battery last very well! Nice quality. We have 1 controller that works all 3! Great value and easy to use.

Sportdog never ceases to amaze me with their excellent quality products! I’ve been using them for years, and I’ve not one time been let down from not just the awesome collars, but the warranty replacement for the first collar MANY years ago! Other than that one, I’ve not one time needed to use the warranty! I have the 1825x for my 2 Doberman, and they use the collars everyday for obedience. The charge lasts for days, and it’s so nice to easily toggle from dog 1 to dog 2. I love the beep and vibration for correcting as I’ve used these collars for years and they don’t usually need more than a beep to get their attention! Sportdog is hands down the best E-collar on the market, and they last for the life of the dog and then some!

Works well, but as the battery weakens you have no way of knowing that it is depleted.

We use these collars with our hunting dogs. Usually just a beer or vibrate is more than enough to get the dogs attention, where it's needed, not "just on the birds"

Both of our girls being on the same remote was so easy! Getting this second collar was so easy to add. Made hunting with both of them a breeze. Our new one went on the German shorthair/ springer spaniel, and being able to cut to fit was also easy.

Works as outline. My wife and I use it to keep dogs from wondering to far. Have only had to use tone so far.

Had this brand before so I thought I'd try the multi dog setup. After just 6 weeks, the rivets came loose from the collar. Not exactly security for my pup if he loses his collar somewhere and I can't call him back! Will be contacting vendor.

Easy to sync with my sportdog teansmitter

It works just as it is supposed to. Allows me to run 2 dogs on my control transmitter.

Unit quit working after 3 years. Tested the battery and it was fine. Electronics strike again. Purchased unit in 2022 for $204 now in 2025 it’s over $400 dollars. Pricing doubled in 3 years come on. I was a sport dog fan now I will try another brand.
