I am a coffee lover and also am an Indonesian. This particular coffee has a very distinct and nice smell, also the taste is just awesome! The customer service is incredible! I've exchanged a few emails with the owner back in December when I purchased it and he was really nice, understanding, and helpful in dealing with my questions. Definitely will buy it again as a gift and my friends here in the States are giving good feedback about this coffee when I gave it to them to taste.Despite the hustle about the civet being caged and all from PETA, I can assure you that not every coffee plantation in Indonesia does that, especially for "kopi luwak", at least none that I know of. One of my good friends is an animal activist and so far, just like the owner said in the Q&A section, that there's no proof of the PETA claim about the animal cruelty. Terima kasih.

The Emperor has No Clothes.The reason I chose this brand was for the ratings. I figured if it was rated 4.5 stars it at least had a chance of being the real deal.

Kopi luwak is just like regular coffee, but these animals are captured out of the wild and forced to live in small cages as well as ONLY being fed the coffee cherries as a diet.
