Your Child's Teeth: A Complete Guide for Parents Hardcover – Illustrated, November 20, 2013

I am a pediatric dentist and hoped to find a useful guide for new parents that was more inclusive than the pamphlets we hand out in the office. I am alarmed that this was sold through Amazon. It Is very poorly written, rambling sentences, no illustrations. No editor would have approved this!For example,Chapter 12 , "The lack of teeth and its consequences", page 34:" Concerning the physiognomic aspect we mustn't insist any longer, in the present being unconceivable (sic) for a man to present himself in society without teeth, more so, the teeth being today an element of life quality appreciation.This is but one example of many through this small book.The description on the back cover reads:" One of the most useful books of pediatric dentistry, this expert resource provides comprehensive coverage of oral care for infants, children and teenagers." Whoever wrote this could not possibly have read the book!I am not returning this book as I will find it a very useful tool in teaching dental residents as an example of very poor communication!
