Great mask does what it says! My hair was highlighted which yours truly did it and was very brassy ! Voila after using mask which I left on for 5 min beautiful highlight now!

My professional colorist did a poor job with my blonde highlights, leaving me with very brassy hair. I was embarrassed to be seen. Drug store purple shampoo wasn’t quite doing the trick, so I bought this, and it made a big difference, even after 1 use. And I was impressed with how moisturizing it was for my hair…better than my normal hair conditioner! Great value, and positive effects for hair health. Would recommend to anyone!

I'm doing this review after only one use. I will update it if things change. Must admit that I'm pretty impressed with this right now. I use lightest mushroom on my bleached hair as I'm transitioning to platinum/silver/white. I have been struggling with the yellow on the 1/2 end of my hair that happens after a week of coloring. The mushroom color is amazing for the first week. I use purple shampoo and conditioner every couple of times of use but suddenly the yellow starts to creep in after only a week-10 days. I tried this mask today and left it on for a full 10 minutes in the shower. I combed it through the ends as instructed and let it goop and sit. After 5 minutes I pulled it through to the root and let it set the other 10 minutes. After an hour of my hair drying after a towel dry and leaving for my natural curl, I noticed the silver tones had returned. Oddly the underneath on my thickest part of my hair though was still dark but not so much yellow. Over the next hour I noticed the silver/white coming through even more. What I was looking for, so I'll update later after another use and shampoo.

* I posted before and after pictures *I just wanted to get rid of some washed out/brass color I had.I used the mask on wet hair after the shower, I left it on for 5 minutes per directions, after rinsing out I had blue streaks and the rest of my hair was like an ash/gray-which I don’t mind but the blue?! Seriously!! I don’t know what I could have done wrong! Thankfully the blue spots are fading after each wash..this definitely didn’t moisturize my hair, if anything it made it extremely frizzy! Smells amazing though and the price wasn’t all that bad either.

I've been using this product for YEARS and was previously buying it at Ulta, but they stopped carrying it recently and I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. I first started using it to keep my bleached platinum hair from yellowing, but at the start of the COVID pandemic I stopped dyeing my hair and let my natural silver come in. It's just as useful now as when I was bleaching, because natural silver hair has the same issues with yellowing and dullness that bleached hair does. I use it a few times a month, just leaving it in for a few minutes in the shower, and it immediately brightens, removes yellowing, and adds shine. I love that it's cruelty free with natural ingredients too. No silicones, parabens, sulfates, or other nasties. It's conditioning enough that it doesn't dry out my hair as well. A tub of this is only 8 ounces, but it lasts me several months because you only need a small amount, and the price is fantastic compared to most other brands. I tried many different purple shampoos and conditioners before finding this gem, and I absolutely recommend it to everyone. As you can see in the pic, it knocks out all the yellow and leaves my silvers super shiny and soft. Love it!

Love this stuff! Only wish you got a little more for your money but I slathered all over dry hair and left for 20 to 25 minutes then showered as normal and I was left with beautiful cool blonde. My hair naturally goes yellow/orange pretty fast so it’s a constant battle to keep that cool tone. This worked better than the toner I get from Sally’s and was easier to apply bc there’s no mixing involved. Just open and use. Will be purchasing again very soon!

Summary: despite the reviews claiming it wouldn’t, it DID indeed turn my hair lavender and had NO effect on my brassy roots. It doesn’t smell great, did not leave my hair “conditioned”, soft or silky. It did not come off on my hands, the 1 win. I will not buy again.Details: my hair is typically super platinum blonde - nearly white. But after a 3 month significant hair loss event followed by another 3 months of recovery due to a bout of Covid, my hair hadn’t been colored for several months & I had significant root regrowth of my natural color. Typically my hair is like stainless steel strength when bleaching, but not wanting to push my hair too far, too soon… the first time back bleaching, we opted to not leave the bleach on for very long & in turn accept a golden blonder root. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem with my previously successful regiment for brass removal... I was ok w not being platinum this time, but the brassy/golden - not so much. I find L’Oréal’s EverPure Purple Shampoo & Conditioner used twice a week, spread out Mon - Fri, with a purple mask used once on the weekends does the trick. The mask in my last photo is the mask I had been using & grew to love… never a purple hint left behind… also left my hair silky, shiny & NO brass. Leave on 20min (5-10min or 15-20min for deeper lightening) after shampooing, no purple hands, no lavender tint, no odor. In the past this mask ($19.99 Amazon) was like a milky-light-purple color in the bottle… the last time I purchased it tho, Revicare changed the formula… it was now purple and glossy… didn’t smell as great, didnt lighten as well… and then it was discontinued. I really scoured Amazon for a replacement, for similar results and price range. After reading tons of reviews for several products, this seemed to be it.I put it on my roots first, where Im most brassy right now… then covered the rest of my hair. No purple left on my hands or on my shower. Altho the bottle says 3-5min, I left it on for 15 minutes. Results - zero change in brassiness. My hair was not left silky or shiny… and while not pungent, it doesn’t smell great. Everybody’s hair is different, but this product did not work for me & I do not recommend.

Product makes your hair softer and platinum color, however the result does not stay long, it washes out after 1-2 wash
