Chile Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3402)

Purchased this map for 7 weeks of travel through Chile from Santiago to Punta Arenas. It was an exceptional help and a good hands on visual for trip planning. Very durable and well laid out.I have always preferred a fold out map over a little screen on a cell phone for my detailed trip planning of great lengths and distances. Funny how when I have my maps extended other intrepid travelers gather around.A great purchase!!

It is very useful for overall planning of a trip to South America later on this year. I purchased it because I had a National Geographic map of New Zealand that I used for a trip there last year that I liked very much. Although it is not detailed enough to do detailed planning, it provides enough detail to see where there are major roads, cities, etc. The fact that it is printed on "plastic" is a plus as well.

Well worth the cost when traveling in Chile. We used it all over, and found it to be a great asset, even though I had my Garmin GPS. Nothing orients you like a full-sized map.Good detail for planning your travel alternatives between cities.The material is of excellent construction, and it held up beautifully.

This map was mostly helpful but for Chile-Patagonia we still used another paper map and GPS. The area is rural and roads are constantly changing. Bring a back up to check your routes to be safe.

Great quality map

Magical southern nation.

Most maps are on thin paper that tears the first time you attempt to close or reorient it. This one is on high grade paper and can withstand a lot of punishment and stay in one piece. Worth the price.!

This map beats the AAA one, with clarity and definition of Chile. My dad and I are cruising down and around Cape Horn to Argentina. Can not wait to follow along with this map.

Excellent travel or planning map of a geographically challenged country! Detail is sufficient for normal purposes but those wishing to explore national parks etc will need a more detailed map of the particular area they wish to visit. Excellent value and fairly indestructible

Love the coating to make it durable and waterproof. However, with the purple protected boundaries on the map some of the towns are hard to read, and the font is kind of small. Still glad to have this for reference.
