I have tried this product several times with different treatments and oils, and I have noticed a difference in my hair (I use treatments to hydrate because my hair is very dry and frizzy). It helps the treatment absorb more without the need to leave the product on for a long time (overnight), and you can wash your hair afterwards. I've used it before washing my hair (oiling) and after washing it with treatments. It doesn't burn my scalp at the maximum temperature; when it reaches the limit, it turns off to reset. I like that it's always hot, so I play with the temperature button to keep it at the maximum temperature for as long as possible.

I ordered this conditioning cap due to the reviews. I have extremely dry 4c hair and needed something to use at home routinely, especially since the salons are closed indefinitely. This is the first time I have used it since I received it. My first impressions are: the cap heats quickly, but it does not have a timer dial like described on the site. Also, the cap cuts itself on and off after 15-20 minutes of use. I love this feature. I believe this probably a safety mechanism, but I really can’t be sure since the instructions don’t indicate that. But it remains warm in between so your hair is still reaping the benefits. The dial switch is not a dealbreaker for me and not worth wasting time returning. I just use Alexa or my phone for a reminder. One last thing, if you like detailed instructions for your devices, this is not for you. The cap is easy to use, but some people like an entire book with their devices. The limited instructions are on the side of the box. Again, that’s not a dealbreaker for me! Overall, I love it after this use. I will post another review after several uses.

My scalp is the healthiest it's been in a while, and since then, my hair has grown about 2.5 inches. This item is a crucial part of that. I believe that the treatments have allowed my hair to repair better. I have noticeable volume, especially in the back.

I was excited to use this product. However, no heat and setting has been on high for a good 20 minutes. Will contact seller for exchange. After using again, I realized that it really does get hot! I just couldn't tell. My hair turned out silky smooth!
