The Fixed-Wing Standard Gets an Update
The Matek F405-Wing has been the standard FC for fixed-wing pilots and it's even better in its V2 iteration. The F405 Wing V2 is remarkably reliable, easy to build if you are competent with an iron, and fully documented. I run mine with the DJI O3 so I only get the BFCOMPAT mode for the on-screen display; this is DJI's fault and not Matek's.

Hint --> Workaround for Issues connecting to Configurators ( Betafight or INAV)
Quick delivery and good packaging.JUst a piece of information , I had a hard time to connect the F405-Wing with Betaflight or Inav configurator using the latest reccomended F405-WIng flash code. The flash load does work,but afterwards the controller does NOT connect with Betaflight or INAV. I tried multiple times for a few days....changed drivers using " ZADIG" and NO communication was possible. It always timed out.AFter a couple days of "research" I found this thread on youtube , mentioning people that had the exact same issue.One of the people suggested that the flash that allows communication is the "MATEK F405 se" flashI tried and loaded the "MATEK F405 se" flash and then using ZADIG I installed the USB serial drive for the F405 and sure enough I have communication and can start programming it.

Nicely made flight controller
This is a nicely made controller. It has everything you can want from a controller like this. My only dissapointment is that it provides no guidance at all on the pin configurations or operation/programming. I had to refer back to the initial store page and other web information to include another reviewer. I pretty much knew what I was doing, but I wanted to be sure. It wouldn't be too hard for the supplier to give us a little product info rather that just a part in a bag.

works great with tons of options
This is a perfect little flight controller. Tons of ports for tons of options and super easy to work on. I am very pleased with it.

Incredible
I initially thought this was the best for having INAV, and an inbuilt osd. Though I now believe it is the worst rc purchase I have ever made. This is because of what happened today, where I was soldering some pins to the board and held the iron for about 4 seconds on it and the major chip in the center and some surrounding micro component’s solder melted and cause shorts and even one to fall off onto the floor and to never be seen again. This caused the unit to become defective and become bricked. Off now to buy a CHEAPER and more reputable speedy bee controller now. 😡

Absolute Awesome Flight Controller
This flight controller came well packaged the flight controller came in 2 plastic packets, one clear and the other the matek packet. Very nice!This is one awesome flight controller had no problems soldiering the pins in, had all my connectors ready just to plug and go. Can't get that much simpler. Very easy to mount in plane, everything laid out perfectly.Really impressed with the 2 packets those very nice touch.
