This 5 Second Rule version for children is a lot of fun that the family can enjoy. The questions can be answered by an elementary school child, who may not know things like naming newspapers or football teams.

This game is great! My very active 6 and 8 year old boys simply love this game. It's silly, fast paced, and keeps their attention. We have a lot of difficulty with board games because both boys don't like sitting that long. This game is easy and quick. Sometimes we just get the cards out and all try to find answers to the questions, together. One boy does the timer and one reads the cards. My 6 year old can read almost all the cards. One of the favorites is, "Name 3 things that parents say...". It's a lot of fun to see what they come up with. The timer is very fun as well! Not just a sand timer, but it makes a honking sound when you push the end and it has little 1mm marbles that spiral down the inside grooves when you flip it over. It takes 5 seconds for all the marbles to get to the end. It's visually and audibly identifiable. The game is 5 second rule, but for the younger players I either give them 10 seconds or they only need to get 2 things (instead of 3). I saw mention of taking this on a car ride and I think this would be perfect for that. This game is a winner at our house. If you have young children that can read and have short attention spans, this game is a WINNER!! Well worth every penny spent!

This game is so fun and love playing with my family try to have different games for game night and this one right here we really enjoyed and worth every dollar spent made use laugh so much in trying to guess everything in 5 seconds it amazing how quick you can’t remember. Great for all ages and can take with you anywhere easy instructions and quality of this game is great.

We are a board game family -- a gaming family, in fact...just more "old-school', and we like it that way. Above all, there's not one of us who hasn't grown up with Disney entertainment. So this game was purchased to play on a family trip. Most of us are certainly over 5-10 years old; in fact, many of us are over 40, 50 and even 60! This game will be fun, but with only 150 cards, it will be easy to memorize the categories if not the "pat answers". So once we've been through it one time, it will probably have to be passed on to someone. Other than that, it's packaged well, and the only thing irritating about it is the hourglass thingy that makes an irritating noise...but we can always remove the battery.

Fun for any age because you can choose the level of difficulty and bend the rules however it suits you. It can be tricky to find games that everyone can enjoy, but this is definitely one. You can modify rules to make it fun and more enjoyable to younger kids. Use the timer, don't use the timer, give extra time, let "iffy" answers count, who cares! It's all about the giggles!

This is a fun twist on the 5 second rule game. We've enjoyed the regular version for many years and when we learned there was a Disney version, we wanted to check it out. It's harder than it sounds, but it added a fun twist to the regular game. This one comes with a game board rather than collecting cards, which also adds a new level, but is a lot of fun for fans of Disney!

Fun game, but cards are very small and hard to read. Box was dinged up pretty bad, looked like it was used and resold to us. I like the game, but do not like how small the cards are and how the box was not new looking.

The game finally arrived today and for the price I paid I am very disappointed to see the front of the box is damaged and the back of the box is all ripped. Luckily all of the contents seem to be in the box and hopefully it will be fun to play.

This game is actually SO challenging! When you only have 5 seconds to spit out three words it really does take some quick thinking! We are a family who loves our family game nights, and this was definitely a crowd pleaser. If your children can read on their own for the most part, then definitely try out this game. There are a TON of cards, so you will have many hours of fun, guaranteed. When you first look at the game board, it looks like you'll get through it super fast. But you don't always get to progress forward unless you can name three things before the timer ends - definitely not as easy as it sounds! Can take up to 25-30m to complete a game. It's incredibly easy to learn right out of the box; so there isn't really any "learning curve" like there sometimes is with more complex games such as Catan or Enchanted Forest. I've included a few pictures, including one of the instructions, as well as a short video to show you how the timer works.

My wife is a 40 years old disney maniac and I love it too. Everything is disney around. But still, the 5 seconds change everything. Simple about cinderella become hard ! Very fun. It's would be possible to sort cards to adapt it for everyone, every age.
