Triple Album Collection

Came in cardstock sleeves, no plastic cases. Less plastic waste, more room for storage.

$17 for This Was, Stand Up, & Benefit. Have Brick, PPlay, LitPast, Burst.Out, but these 3 starters I was unfamiliar with. Altogether excellent efforts, with 'Stand Up' standing out for me. Puny print notes state these are '01 'digital remasters', but of course that was 20 yrs back! Fine fidelity all methinks, and for < $6 each, I am entirely pleased. NOTE: no liner notes, no lyrics, no gatefolds, just simple album-like cardboard repro sleeves (entire box is one jewel case thick, so space-saving). Have collected several of these sets, have yet to be disappointed: always a great quantity of quality music 'for a song'. (also recommend: first Doobie Bros and J.Geils sets; not Tull mind you, but great in their own right.)

All clean, but Benefit is missing the song Teacher from the original US vinyl printing. This Was - a blues based album that was done prior to Anderson setting the longer term vision of Tull. Stand Up is pretty decent. Good for the price.

Nice collection

Great 3 CD collection of Tull's first 3 albums. Excellent sound quality!

Great music almost impossible to find CD's with these classic songs.

Excellent collection of Tull.

For those of us who are long time Tull fans and have held on to the vinyl through the seasons to now, this is a great set to get. All the songs, adequately engineered well for dropping in the SUV CD player on the way to work or the lake. Nothing jaw-dropping in this faithful release but if, like me, you needed something more portable than the vinyl or those mix tapes for those have-to-be-Tull moments then this is something to get. If you are a new Tull fan and have gotten this deep - come on in, the water is fine. These recordings tell a core part of the story of how Tull became Tull.

Consiglio per i collezionisti come me, però, i tre lp originali
