Can this fit an A3 folder please?

Notice the backpack is 44x32x20cm and an A3 folder is rouchly 42x30cm so it would probably be a tight fit depending on the thickness of the folder.

does the bag have a bottle pouch on the side?

There’s no side pockets, I bought this for my son for school and he has to put his bottle in the main part of the bag.
