I love SM. They are reasonably-priced and work really well. Unfortunately, I have not used any other more expensive brands like Hydro Flask, Yeti or Kleen Kanteen - so I can't really compare how SM holds up to these brands. But, on its own value, SM is holding up really well. I think it is very value for money. It keeps drinks cold and hot, as it says. Left my SM bottle (with cold water) in the car for a few hours in the hot weather recently to test. The bottle itself is warm to touch thanks to the sun, but the cold water remains COLD AND REFRESHING! The best thing about SM is of course, its ecosystem of various lids and accessories. I chose to go with SM because it has many different lids for different occasions (coffee lid for drinking hot drinks, sports chug lid for hiking, straw lid for hiking too, etc). It also has a very pretty bottle Booty (?) that protects it from dents. And they come in MANY different colors, which makes it great to make one bottle that is uniquely (almost) yours. However, the accessories can get a bit pricey because each lid is almost half thr price of the bottle. Still, I like the lids. I love the form factor - it is beautiful to look at. So simple and so modern. I see where it gets its name. It also fits into the car holder well (even with the Booty). I hope one day SM will have a 24 oz bottle that still fits in the car holder. Why 24 oz? For the Venti-sized cold drinks from Starbucks. Haha!

I bought this bottle for my boyfriend, as I already have my own 40 oz. simple modern bottle. I am absolutely in love with this brand. Not only is it much more affordable than HydroFlasks, it works just as well. My boyfriend loved my bottle so I got him his own, in a much larger size (84 oz) because he works outside and I wanted him to stay hydrated and not have to refill his bottle constantly. Unfortunately, he told me it’s a lot harder to drink out of the straw with his bottle. I’m pretty sad about that, but he still loves his bottle! It keeps your water cold or hot for literally days. He still has ice in his bottle after working outside for hours in 100+ degree heat! Another set back that I’ve noticed with my own bottle as well is, with the straw attachment, it’s -pretty- water proof, but if it’s filled all the way up, it will dribble a slight bit. If it’s at least 1/5 empty, it won’t do this at all. I have no idea if my boyfriend is having this same issue with his 84 oz, if he has he hasn’t mentioned it, but beware, this is something that can happen. I may have gotten a defective straw lid, I’m not sure. Keep in mind the 84 oz bottle is very heavy when full, naturally. All in all, this is still a great bottle, and I recommend it. I rated the easy to drink from portion 3/5 stars because the size of the bottle makes it difficult to drink from. For any smaller sizes it’s not difficult at all.

I drink a lot of water, and I hate having to fill up my glass so many times at home, and I could go through 8 bottle of water a day at work. I have been searching for an enormous water container that I like but wasn't going to spend more than $10-12. This is one of the best things I have every purchased. Well worth the money. I got the 84oz and it's huge, but the handle on the top is gorgeous and sturdy design that makes it easy to carry. The straw top works okay but sometimes doesn't sip if the straw is at a weird angle. That took me a few days to figure out. But it stays cold all day and holds a lot of water. They have all different sizes and I am thinking about getting my wife one for her birthday (and I would probably be using it more than her!). The metal bottom is a bit heavy and putting it down can cause a good "clank." A full 84oz bottle like that can weigh a good 5-10 lbs. I found the silicone bottom covers they offer as well as different top choices on their website (simplemodern.com). So I am probably going to get some of those but would have definitely already bought if they were offered on Amazon alongside the bottle--maybe a little discount bundle situation. Bottome Line: Great stuff, sleek design, works like a dream, best thing for a heavy water drinker. Big time recommend. PS: The thing can hold like 7 beers. You could fill this baby up and be all set for a beach day or a concert. Keep your beer cold and reduce all the aluminum cans that get thrown away or littered on the beach.

EDIT: I did a replacement through Amazon and got a new bottle and lid. The lid worked perfect now! I must have just had a defective lid. I'm very happy with this bottle, and would recommend to anyone! I wish they could have sent out just a replacement lid instead of the whole bottle. It's amazing how quickly I drink 64oz with this straw lid. I'm going to get a 32oz bottle for the gym, since my 64oz is too big for the cup holders. Very, very happy with this purchase! I love this bottle! The color is beautiful, it keeps my water cold, and it doesnt leak. That being said I'm super disappointed in the straw lid. I feel like I'm trying to drink through a broken straw. I have read the instructions, taken it apart and put it back together, nothing works. I'm not sure if I just got a defective straw lid or what because I see other people say they love it. My co workers are literally laughing at me because it's so loud when I try to drink water. I have to take the lid off to drink, which is super annoying being a 64oz bottle. A heavy wide mouth bottle doesnt make for a dry drinking experience. I would purchase this bottle again, but I will make sure I get it with a different lid!

I've ordered several cold containers and could never find one that met all the design elements I wanted. 1st, the design I chose on the outside is beautiful. 2nd, it holds exactly the amount of water I need to see me through the night. 3rd, the choice of tops for drinking from the container makes it work well in any situation. I use the screw open one because I can drink from it at any angle and not have to worry about a straw that requires the container to be held upright, also, there's nothing to bump against your nose when you tip it forward to take a drink like some bottles . 4th, there is never any condensation on the outside of the bottle. 5th, it's easy to fill and clean. 6th, it keeps my water cool to cold all night long. For those with other specific preferences, the following might be considered negatives: (1) It's fairly heavy and big around. However, I have small hands and didn't find either of those to be problems. (2) I don't use ice, so while I found the contents stayed very cool, others may expect a colder temperature retention. I don't know about hot drinks because I haven't used it for that purpose yet. I hope this answers some questions you may have. If anything ever happens to this one, I will definitely purchase another just like it.

Overall, I'd probably still buy this again (hence 4 stars) because it's functional (gotta stay hydrated), pretty, and a good price. But, (like many things in life) it doesn't have all the features I'm looking for. I was a very picky water bottle shopper and this is what I settled for. I used to have this amazing plastic water bottle with the "straw lid" style for a while but I dropped it when it was full and it cracked. I couldn't just order a new one of that particular model because it could only be ordered in bulk (minimum 25! I only need one!). So I set out to find a 24oz water bottle with a straw lid, was narrow enough to slide into my backpack's pouch for water bottles, durable, not too heavy, does make noise if I set it on the floor or when I drink out of it, not leaking, easy to clean, easy to drink out of, and let me tell you no such water bottle exists (unless you're willing to buy in bulk). That said, there are features about this water bottle I like. The color is beautiful, it looks nice and is much cheaper than a hydroflask, the stainless interior helps prevent bacteria from sneaking into cracks, and it's insulated which is nice on hot days because my water stays cold. However, it's not always leak-proof... sometimes for whatever reason it decides to drip water--not excessive amounts, but enough to dampen the outside of my backpack which is obnoxious. Also, occasionally I have to partially unscrew the lid to release pressure so when I drink from the straw it doesn't make ridiculously loud squeaky suction noises. With regard to other noises: while I know you can get rubber sleeves for the bottom of the water bottle, I would like it to slide in and out of my backpack without difficulty so I'm stuck with a noisy metal cylinder. A nice feature would be the rubber on the very bottom (example: my brother has a contigo autoseal which has rubber only on the bottom surface of the water bottle to keep it from loudly clanging when being set down on a hard surface, but the sides are still smooth so it can easily slide in and out of cup holders/backpacks/whatnot). Another point, it is only 22oz which isn't a deal breaker but I wish they had those 2 extra ounces for this water bottle. One feature, the square handle on the lid doesn't really hurt to carry for any amount of time, but I think smoother hold would be ideal to match the natural curve of your fingers. Lastly, I've dropped this water bottle on concrete and the bottom corner of the water bottle dented but the paint didn't come off which I was very impressed by. I like the texture of the paint and the bottle/lid are a good durable material. That's all. Drink up!

Now, obviously I haven't tested/used all the water bottles on the market, so my title is clearly hyperbole, but you get the idea. I love everything about this water bottle. The design is beautiful. The plastic parts (the straw and the cap) are well made and durable. There is no condensation, so you can take/place your water bottle anywhere, even in bed with you. The issues other people have had with the straw are a mystery to me. Maybe the manufacturer changed the design, but all I had to do was wash the bottle and cap and straw, fill with water and ice, and screw on the top with the straw attached. Voila--I was good to go. The best thing is that the water stays cold--really cold--for many hours. It begins to lose its coldness after about 18 hours, but even then it is not bad. I am a person who likes cold things cold and hot things hot, so this is important to me. I have not tested the bottle with coffee or tea, but I am willing to bet that hot liquids will stay hot as well. I recommend this product without reservation--it is well worth the price. I probably will get another one. Update: I tested the water bottle with coffee yesterday. After putting some coffee in the bottle, I was surprised by an unexpected guest and forgot the coffee for several hours. When I remembered it later, I checked and the coffee was still hot. This bottle is marvelous!

This bottle is everything I was looking for without the huge price tag. I have used this bottle daily for 5+ months now and it shows no sign of wear (even though it's been banged around many times). It keeps my drinks cold, and most of the time it is leak proof. There is a small Rubber gasket in the center of the straw lid. After a few months of use this gasket fell out and disappeared during handwashing. I reached out to the company to see if I could get a replacement gasket, and they very kindly sent me a whole new lid! I was amazed and am very grateful. However, I have now broken my new lid. I tried to remove the straw for cleaning, and accidentally pulled out the gasket that holds the straw. I was not thinking or being careful. And then I could not reinsert the gasket and broke it trying. I highly recommend this bottle, but be careful with your straw lid! It is probably mostly my own fault but will not dissuade me from buying another lid.

Tout est dans le titre, j'en ai déjà acheté deux tellement les couleurs plaisent et elle se révèlent pratiques à utiliser au quotidien. Pas encore essayé cette gourde pour du chaud (café ou autres) mais je ne me fais aucun souci sur son efficacité.

Mantiene el agua fresca mucho tiempo y en ningún momento me ha sabido a metal. Las bebidas calientes también las mantiene muy bien, aunque no lo he probado tanto para eso. Una gran pega es que cuando lo compré ponía que venía con dos tapas (una con pajita y otra normal) y no ha sido así, pero en cuanto al producto todo genial
