Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm Slim Fan, PWM 300-1200RPM, Quiet Case/CPU Cooler Fan, Single Pack

My noctua 120x120x15 fan was only 3 pin and roaring loud running at 100% RPM. I really needed a slim PWM fan and this was what I found. I'm very surprised how quiet it is and how much air it moves. I did some stress testing just to get these to max RPM. At 1200RPM these are whisper quiet. So far I'm happy, I'm not familiar with this brand so I hope they last.

I have this on a AIO radiator and have it on full blast and im amazed how silent it is. I dont feel like its really doing anything static pressure wise though. I decided to order another Scythe slim fan that has more RPM range. I think this is a great case fan or maybe cpu cooler fan but im not too sure about a radiator fan.

I needed an extra fan for my Hyper 212 EVO but the included fan was too thick and obstructed one of my ram slots on the motherboard, so this slim fan from Scythe worked out perfect for me having a push pull configuration without obstructing any ram slots. Sure the newer revision of the EVO offsets the cooler enough so this is not an issue but I could not resist the sale on the older revision.

Solid fan that moves 6.1 l/m silently at 50% power. I have two running in my build with one being on the fuma 2 cpu cooler and the other serving as a basement intake in the front of the meshify-C by fractal. Over all, I would use these in a low profile build and provide an solid bang for the buck.

I tried the 800rpm and this fan. I like both. They move air and are quiet.

Excellent fan. Not completely silent but when you’re putting a ton of fans into a case you can’t except everything. I have a Corsair Crystal 280X case. Standard height fans won’t fit into the bottom of the case when there is a PCIE card installed in one of the lower mobo slots. This fit with enough clearance and dramatically lowered my internal temps. I also installed some taller feet for better air intake from under the case.

I've used these fans before and I can say that they are very good for the money. I use these in my home theater PC which is built with a case that is very similar to a classic sound system component. As a result thicker standard fans often rub against components inside so these are the perfect fit to accommodate that tight space. They also have some nice new features like rubber corner bumpers and braided fan lines. They're not Noctua caliber but they are a far cry better than most competitors in this size and price point. If you're in need of a thin fan, at 15 mm thick, you can't go wrong with these. I highly recommend them to a builder who needs this type of cooling.

Excelente opcion para espacios reducidos, tiene un buen flujo de aire y el nivel de rudio es inaudible a mas de 1m de distancia. Lo use en un gabinete Meshify C a la altura de la tarjeta de video, la cual por el largo no me permitió usar un ventilador normal.

The fan on my Scythe Big Shuriken 2 Rev.B died(stalling) and I needed a replacement fan that would fit in the Node 202. While this fan is a bit thicker, it fits snuggly with the included anti-vibration rubber. Great performance for the price.
