Purist Hydroflo for Bike Hugger

I'll make this review short and sweet. Great water bottle. I take this bottle with me on bike rides and also to work where I leave it on my desk. There is no plastic taste. Very easy to clean, and does not leak at all unless you squeeze it when the nozzle is open. I originally meant to only use this on bike rides, but I use it at work, at the gym, and anywhere else as long as I'm carrying a bag. If you like to drink water and ride at the same time, very easy to grab from your bottle holder and drink.Only thing that takes getting used to is how much water comes out when you squeeze the bottle. I nearly choked the first time I drank from it. But it's a positive as far as I'm concerned. Just took a little getting used to.Completely worth the money, no regrets, would buy again.

I have used many different types of water bottles over the years. I have found that the insulated bottles are very hard to squeeze, especially after a year or two of use. Even the Camelbak Podium bottle without insulation has some difficulty to squeeze. This bottle has no plasticky flavor or smell and is SO easy to squeeze. One easy squeeze releases a good amount of water, and there is no leaking from the bottle at this point. Highly recommend!

These water bottles are great! They take a bit to get used to because it’s a squirt bottle and not a suck bottle but after a ride too I love em, plus you can shoot a dumb drivers with em!

With its flexible material, this water bottle is easy to squeeze, unlike many other models. The triangular cross section also helps for smaller hands.

I just received it today and my initial impression is that it is a quality product. There was absolutely zero smell (even some of the other mfg's bottles that are BPA-free have a slight smell - but not this one). I filled it with water and tried it out - tastes as pure as if it came right from the water cooler - no after taste at all. The nozzle gives quite a rush of water - so you don't need to squeeze it hard - and it's leak-proof. Even with the spout open and turned upside down - no water comes out. This means you can keep it open on your rides / runs and not worry about the liquid spilling out.Honestly, after trying this - I don't think I can use the regular plastic ones - I'm going to buy another - one for work, one for the bike. Further, this would make a great gift to a fitness enthusiast as it fits a niche: flexible, spill-proof, zero-taste water bottle that will stay clean. Can't beat that.

The only way to get water to come out is to bite the end and then the bottle collapses when you suck out the water. This is an unusable water bottle for biking. I finally just took the top off to drink from it.

I have painful arthritis in my thumbs. Every other water bottle I tried hurt too much to squeeze, even a little, to help get enough water in one swallow. This one truly is soft and works great.

This bottle has no insulation--the fluid does not stay cold. They need to make a version with insulation, like Camelbak Big Chill or Polar Insulated Water Bottles. When they do that, they may have the ideal water bottle.
