Yes, it can be, Rhino mount helmet mount is suitable for night vision goggles, such as CNC, PVS-14, PVS-18, PVS-15 ,L4 G24, L4 G22E and GPNVG18. Also suitable for most helmets, such as: ACH, PASGT, MICH, M88.

Will this mount directly to an Ops Core Fast bump helmet?

Its a tight fit i have an ops core shroud on my hhv ballistic helmet and i needed to file down the shroud slightly to get it to lock in but once its in its solid.

Is this suitable for combat use?

Not 100% sure but my son who is in the Army specifically sent me the link to this item. He said other people in his unit have it, so you can try it.
