Vet's Best Flea & Tick Shampoo for Dogs, Plant-Based, 12 oz

My dog caught fleas and this shampoo was really effective for ridding her of them. The first couple of uses the live fleas literally jumped off of her in the bath. I combed her through while she had the shampoo in to try to get the eggs too and then rinsed it off which seemed to work well for her.The shampoo smells strongly of the peppermint and smells clean although it is quite a strong smell so it might be overpowering in a small enclosed space. It is a lot better smelling than other flea shampoos we have used.It is expensive for dog shampoo but it does work and it was worth it for us and a big positive is that it is a plant based formula and full of natural ingredients.The only negative I have is that my dog is long haired and for some reason after being bathed in this shampoo it made her slightly statically charged where some times when we stroked her we (me and the dog) would both get a static shock but this didn’t last long and went after a couple of days.Overall I would recommend this as a very effective flea treatment and we will continue to buy and use it.

Just come back from holiday with dog a few days ago and he has been scratching and biting himself since we been home, so i have just washed him in this shampoo and left it on for 5 mins and this is what critters came off him when i rinsed him , couldnt get a pic of the other 3 or 4 as they had soapy residue on them and couldnt see them clearly on photo.so this definately works

I have switched shampoo because of the price tag on this product and so sorry I did. I do not believe in feeding my dog those awful monthly tablets from the vet that cost an arm and a leg, to prevent ticks & fleas - and it is very bad for your pet over a long period of time. It can discolour the skin, some research even linked to epileptic fits. So this shape is definitely the answer. Smells nice, stays on the pet for a duration as well and her skin and coat looks amazing. I would definitely recommend this product to all dog lovers.

Smells nice and makes the dogs coat so soft but didn’t kill any fleas and as this was more expensive than most flea shampoos I thought it would work better

I love this shampoo. And so does my dog. It has a great lather, smells like mint, cleans well. Leaves her coat clean and bright, shinny and most of all, it's all natural ingredients. The fleas and ticks that were hiding under her skin came running right out. And it's bargain priced. I now have it on a subscribe and save schedule. It's being delivered every month. I rescue dogs on a regular basis, and this is my go to flea treatment for the strays from the streets before they can come in the house.The ingredients are all natural so I don’t have to worry about skin irritants or allergies for a pup that I don’t know medical history on.The smell is fantastic, and it leaves the dogs coats clean and conditioned. The best part is when they’re infested, you can see the little buggers jumping off the dog after just a quick scrub down.I’ll usually do two scrubs with it. One to get all the dirt and debris off first, and if I notice fleas then I’ll scribe more in and let this one soak for at least 5 minutes while I take the time to get each paw and all the crevices. Mind you, I’m normally helping bigger dogs, but either way it works on all breeds, sizes and ages.

Seems to kill fleas really well, but didn’t stop them from coming back. We saw lots of dead fleas come off in the bath.

Best flea shampoo I've ever used. I noticed fleas on my dog the last week. I gave him the by mouth pill to kill them and after that he was just INFESTED!!! We pet him backwards and around his butt area there was just a million dead as well as live fleas!! It was sooooooo gross. The vet recommended to not bathe him yet because he just has surgery but I had to. I asked chat GPT what was the best flea shampoo for this occasion and it recommended this. So i got it delivered in 3 hrs and bathed my dog. We flea combed out all the bugs and it was SO GROSS!!! But afterwards he was soft and smelled good and we couldn't find a single flea, dead or alive, under his short hair coat. I am totally satisfied with this shampoo.
