Works for dog door insert
I used it to seal the back edge of the open door after installing a dog door insert. You know how when the door is open, because the dog door won’t let it shut all the way, the frame no longer meets and there is a gap? I put it there. I was skeptical when it arrived and I saw how thin it is, but it works really well for this application. I didn’t have a strip because I used the dog door from my old place, so I ordered this one. It’s better than the old one! I think the silicone material will last longer than the old rubber one.

Started to fall off in some places; other places fine. Good materials.
This is great for sealing doors, however the adhesive is a bit weak, I've got one door that has had the stripping fail and start to peel off, but the rest are okay. It's nice to seal exterior doors and decent for the gap at the bottom of the door. Sealing that lets you keep individual rooms at your desired temperatures and helps with noise reduction. The material is silicone I believe, it seems like it'll last a good long time--longer than the adhesive--so I might plan to hit it with some staples down the road.

Great adhesive
These have good adhesive and are easy to apply. They reduce bugs from entering the doorways and help with air leaks. Easy to cut to needed size as well.

Sometimes works... sometimes not so much
I've got an older home (1915) with original windows (+permanent storm windows). In the past I've used pealable calk every window to reduce drafts. That works great, but the smell (VOC's) when installing basically means we have to clear the house for a day or find a day we can keep doors open to allow the stink to clear.Thought I'd try using this instead. Faster, less messy, less stinky, potentially poisonous chemical compounds, etc.Started out promising, but some of them just would stick despite cleaning the window trim with rubbing alcohol. Many of the strips that did stay in place were a pain to remove. You have to peel off very carefully to avoid peeling up the surface of the window trim.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This product was perfect, peeled off easily, adhesive was strong and perfect for a drafty basement door.

Worked like a charm.
Needed to not see day light coming though next to the old wooden basement door. It's serving it's purpose. It seemed to adhere well. . .too early to know for sure but if you prepare everything properly I see no reason to expect it to fail. I like that the silicone edge is softer than what I've used in the past. My thought is that it will less likely be brittle. . .I'm not an expert lol.

Good, But Could Be Better
Living in Florida, I purchased this product because I rent and the place I rent, has sliding glass doors with a gap between them, which lets in heat and insects. I purchased this product to cover the gap, but I was hoping it would be a bit more adhesive and a bit more rigid. It basically works, but it's not a permanent fix because with the opening and closing of the doors, the adhesive being a bit more weak than I had hoped and the material not having a great deal of rigidity, it's starting to work it's way off. I would purchase it again in a pinch, but will look elsewhere for something with more staying power.

Poor quality product.
Poor quality product. It won't help and adhesion will come out within 2 to 3 weeks. Not effective for sound proofing.
