Each of the 12 sets of red/green washers are their own zip seal bag, and the sets are all then in a larger zip seal bag so they are easy to keep track of and uncontaminated until used. Being bagged within a bag these should keep fresh for years. Can conveniently be carried in a pocket if you are away from the garage when installing a new battery. If you're so inclined, as you use these, you'll also have a few 2-1/4" x 3" zip seal bags (of reasonable thickness) available for projects involving small parts. The washers are 1/8" thick uncompressed, 1-3/4" OD x 3/4" ID, with a punch out for 1-1/4"ID. So, you have 3 size options: A wide washer 1-3/4" OD x 3/4" ID A narrow washer 1-1/4" OD x 3/4" ID. A medium width washer 1-3/4" OD x 1-1/4" ID for something with larger diameter posts, or for when a battery clamp will not seat properly. SOME batteries have a raised step around the post or side terminal and that may be large enough that the washer will have to punched out in order to install the clamp fully. For maximum efficiency and SAFETY, a battery clamp should always be at least flush or better still be below the top of a battery post.

Big Ziploc style bag full individually packaged pairs of standard felt washers for top post batteries. It included enough in the package to last me for many years. I work in the car service business, & these are just exactly what I expected & wanted. Save your money & buy these if you’re like Mr & have a few vehicles you need to take care of. I highly recommended this as well as spray on battery terminal sealer every time you replace your battery or start to develop corrosion on the terminals.
