Works great for me
Be sure to pair with a GRX front derailleur. The rear derailleur and levers can be 105's. That is what I am successfully running now.

Not directly compatible with Ultegra/105 etc front deraillers
Note: this crankset sits 2.5mm further out from the bottom bracket than do the road standard Ultegra/105/Tiagra cranks do, so your FD may not be able to reach the large ring on the GRX crank; in addition if you have a molded in FD mount it may not go low enough for the 46T sized GRX. There are adapters to lower the FD in this instance and you may have to fabricate 2.5mm thick 1/2 diameter spacers for the chain rings to move them inboard enough for the road FD to work.

Quality you expect from Shimano
I ordered the GRX-600 crank over the GRX-800 series crank mostly because of the issues with the design of the crank. These dont have the glued on hollowtech II technology and not susceptible to breaking. A bit heavier and more in line with the Shimano 105 series vs Ultegra. So it is a bit heavier that the 800 series but I think more robust and a bit cheaper in cost. So far its been great.
