I never had acne in my adolescence. Not a single pimple. That all changed around age 20. Having little or no experience in facial care I just used whatever products were most recognizable (proactiv), which worked well enough for a time. I am not sure what changed in my body chemistry but at 30 I started breaking out like never before. Not just one or two blemishes but often massive breakouts that would produce several pimples are once. Sometimes I would develop multiple zits in the span of a day. For a while I did not have more than a single day at most with clear skin. I found this product after numerous recommendations from sites and articles about skin care. It literally started working on the first day. I noticed by the time I returned from the work day I had already seen significant reduction in my redness, inflammation and overall number of blemishes. I initially started with one wash per day. and will sometimes increase depending on activity but after 8 weeks I have actually not seen a single pimple in weeks. Again I cannot emphasize enough just how bad my acne was getting. At one point I had a pea sized hole in my face from a pimple that was being stubborn. And within a few short weeks of that I have not seen even a single small zit. Admittedly expensive but wortth every penny.

I don’t know if many can tell a difference but I’m 30 and I’ve struggled with cystic acne in high school, then went on accutane when I was 25 and that was the only thing they ever gave me the privilege of ZERO breakouts. I don’t know what life is like without acne or breakouts unless I was on accutane. Well I’m a mom now and pregnant so accutane is not an option. I've had clear skin all my life and started breaking out a little over a year ago. I know that's not a long time but I honestly couldn't stand it and had to find something to fix it. I got topical prescriptions, tried a million over-the-counter solutions, diet solutions, etc.... nothing really too drastic but I tried A LOT and nothing worked. I randomly found out about Clenziderm and tried it because of all the reviews and it is the best thing I could have done. I've been using it for about a month and yesterday, I went outside with no makeup on for the first time in over a year!!! It is a miracle product. There are a couple things that people should know about before going into it though, because I went through some things while first using the product that, if other people experienced them, may deter people from seeing the product all the way through to the clear skin part! It definitely dries your face out when you first start using it. I didn't start using the system twice a day until I was about 3 weeks in, and even then, I don't use the lotion twice a day because that, for me, is what really did the dried out my face. I use a good moisturizer with it during the day after everything has dried/settled on my face just to counteract the drying effect, and ever since I started doing that I don't really see flakes on my skin during the day. All that said, I don't care about a little temporarily dry/flaky skin when I get results as good as these. I haven't seen too many other people post about this, but after about a week of using the product, I had a huge flare up of acne. Prior to this, the acne I got was always the under the skin kind, but this flare-up was huge, red, painful bumps all over my face. It was awful and lasted about a week and a half but then everything subsided. I like to think that it was just my skin purging itself due to the new treatment maybe? But it did go away and now my skin is clear. Not the worst thing to endure for 1.5 weeks to get to the end result. I'll definitely be purchasing this system again to help maintain the results I'm seeing already!

Growing up, I almost never got pimples. Even as an athlete, I rarely ever got a blemish. Once I turned 19 my face broke out like crazy with no explanation. I wasn't eating unhealthy and my doctor said all the hormone tests they did showed no irregularities. I was baffled and my self esteem took a hit. I was a grown woman with acne. How could this be?! I spent many years trying different products (you should use a product for a minimum of 6 months to know it's true effectiveness FYI). I tried all the over the counter acne washes. I tried many painful procedures, facials, and harsh chemicals. Eventually I discovered the Clinique Acne Solutions system which worked wonders for a couple years! But then when I approached 24 years old, the acne flare ups started again. My cousin introduced me to the very pricey but very effective Obagi Clenziderm System. I used to purchase these products at a very reputable beauty spa. However, driving 3 hours round trip and paying $200 (WITH a discount) was no longer sustainable. I'm so glad I found the entire system here on Amazon! These are authentic products. I highly recommend it to anyone suffering with acne. I know first hand how frustrating it can be to find something that works but even more frustrating when your miracle product is no longer performing. Do yourself a favor and TRY Obagi. It's worth it! Also, I believe Clenziderm is going through a repackaging phase so that may be another reason this product is sold so affordably on Amazon. Either way, I am a happy customer! I've also noticed that these products are sold individually with is convenient as I always run out of the moisturizer the fastest. I noticed some people's reviews mentioned they received all 3 products but they were not in the case. Mine came in the box. Very professional. TIP: I put the toner in a travel sized spray bottle and spray 1 time on a cotton pad. That's all you need! Plus it saves the product.

I have been on the Clenziderm system two months now, and I believe it is working for my mild to moderate hormonal acne. It did dry out my skin considerably at first, even using the product every other day, so I purchased the Clenziderm Therapeutic Moisture separately, and I believe that is a must have if you buy this product -regardless of how oily your skin is (I am medium to dark complected and very oily). The toner and therapeutic lotion does burn a bit at first, but that subsided for me after about a week. I cannot say it has cleared up my skin 100%, but it has helped more so than Murad and Rodan and Field's Umblemish did. I got a glycolic peel recently and was not able to use any of the Clenziderm 3-step system for 3 days prior and 5 days afterward (per my Dr.) and in that time I did break out slightly, so my guess is that you do need to follow it continuously or you will be prone to break out. I have worked up to using this once a day as my nighttime regimine, and have no problems with burning or over drying. I will say that honestly, the best remedy for my hormonal acne has been taking the prescription drug, Spironolactone. If you are constantly battling hormonal acne, I suggest talking to your doctor about starting Spironolactone, and using Clenziderm as your topical treatment.

I don't know what miracle is in these bottles but it reduced up my severe cystic acne in three days and completely cleared it in two weeks. This product is better than any prescription I received from my dermatologist. Make sure you wait 10 to 15 minutes after applying the face wash before proceeding to apply the other products. I am going to sign up for a subscription to make sure I never run out.

The products work magically! Any red marks or pimples that I have the night before I apply it are gone. I do recommend waiting 15 minutes after using each of the products before applying the next one because they burn extra when you rush and don’t let them sink in. Other than that I do recommend getting it if you have oily or combination skin cause it does dry a little bit.
