Authentic Bavarian Plain Soft Pretzel | Individually Wrapped Pretzels | Pairs Perfectly with FUNacho Cheese, Pack of 10

These pretzels were great. I’m. Not a pretzel eater and I bought these because I could not find any for a German party I was giving. I was not disappointed. They tasted great, I just took a few bites and they were very good. Warmed in microwave about 15 seconds and everyone I served enjoyed them

My faith in this business is restored I DID indeed receive a reply after my comment about the defective product (somehow I missed it) Not only did the company reply but sent out a "larger than the original" replacement. My order was originally for 10 pretzels and the replacement box contained 25 (I may even, actually use up all the salt they sent... inside joke if you've ordered and know how big the bag of salt is). Good job in responding and making the order and experience "right!" Thank You. Yet another update; Even though the package on the pretzel says "BEST BY 07/31/16" the attached pictures says something different. Really, MOLD and I have not had these pretzels one week yet. And no contact when a bad review is written? This is just the worst. Update to the Update; Seems as if the price has gone down a bit to $23 or so dollars. Sadly, so has the quality. It seems as if every pretzel I have eaten from this latest batch has been under cooked. All have been so "doughy" inside it is almost like eating raw pretzel dough. I fear my purchasing of this product is about to come to an end. Update of my review. The price increase will force me to NOT buy these pretzels much longer. I noted below they were $20 then they increased to $23 and change and now, just 9 NINE DAYS LATER the price is now $29. This s flower and a few other ingredients, none of which are gold. Sorry but the price has become prohibitive. This order will be my last, you have priced yourself out of a customer. These are awesome pretzels. They remind me of the ones I used to get when I lived in New York. They are soft and chewy. They give you enough salt for 1000 pretzels. I sent my sister a box and we video chatted and video drooled about how good they were and how they reminded us both of growing up eating them in New York. I recommend them over that store bought frozen brand, even though those are good also. I wish I had found the case of 50 for $70 instead of the individual boxes of 10 for $20.00, they really should let you know they have a discounted bigger box. :-(

I’m very disappointed in these pretzels! They are dry, doughy and tasteless they also are very dark brown and look nothing like the ones I’m used too.! Grew up in Germany and have eaten the pretzels in Munich at The Hofbrau Haus. These don’t even come close. I heated one in the microwave for 15 sec. Slightly moistened the top with water to get the enclosed salt to stick! No luck with that either. What’s waste of money!

Product arrived quickly & was fresh. Each pretzel comes in a sealed, heavy plastic wrap. There is air in the bag & I suggest putting them in the fridge or freezer for keeping fresh past a few days. Doesn't need another bag for the freezer, as the plastic is thick. Tastes pretty good. Easy to heat up. Can be eaten without heating, but better warmed. I sprayed it with a bit of olive oil on top & added salt; used the microwave to heat up for 20-30 seconds (start with 15 sec). Pretty tasty for a quick snack. Tossed the rest in the freezer for later. Will let those thaw & then put in the toaster oven with a light brush of oil or water to have the salt adhere. Bag of salt included and way more than is needed. Actually, tasted better than one restaurant's soft pretzel. These are tasty, but not quite the fresh-out-of-the-oven soft, but good enough for the price!

I love soft pretzels! For context, my primary go-to pretzels are of the "keep in freezer, make in microwave" type, so that is the baseline for this review. Lately, I have had problems locating jumbo-size frozen pretzels, but I saw these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. Big upside -- they don't have to be kept frozen, and they were certainly convenient and available! But in reality, to me, that's where the story ends. I ordered the 10-piece pack and have made several pretzels so far, but each lacks the subjective qualities I have come to expect -- chewy texture, moist inside, yeasty flavor.... These pretzels just seems bland. Dry. Little flavor. I tried to vary my preparation and it always came out the same -- big pretzels, little desire to finish it. I'll finish my 10-pack order, only because my frugality won't permit me to trash them, but I won't order more. I REALLY wanted to like these pretzels, but they just didn't meet my expectations.

Like the real deal

These tasty pretzels arrived fresh and delicious. When they're baked the bottoms get a slightly grill pattern and sometimes produce flakes. The small black flecks on the inside of the packaging is just from the bottom of the pretzel, entirely edible. Alot of care went in to the manufacturing of these pretzels, right down to the wonderful pretzel salt and airtight packaging. Should keep well in the fridge for several days. Marvelous!!

As a NYC boy, I have very fond memories and high standards for food, even street food. I've been dieing for a real NYC soft dough pretzel for a long time When I saw these pretzels and the high ratings, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my expectations were much too high. They are nothing like the NYC or Philly street pretzels. They are just a step up from the frozen Super Pretzels in the supermarket. The only nice thing is they don't have to be refrigerated. They're very doughy and don't have the satisfying chew the real ones have. Unlike what everyone in the reviews said, my pretzels did not come with any salt packets. No salt, no instructions (although not needed), no name brand on any of the packaging. I wonder if I got the official product. I have been in touch with the vendor and hope to hear from them soon. Meanwhile I will increase my baking time to 10 minutes and see if that helps with the doughiebess. UPDATE: Uncooked for 10 minutes and the pretzel is more crunchy, but still had a doughy taste. The vendor promptly contacted me and is sending the missing salt packet.
