Jada Toys Battle Machines - Combat Crash R/C Trackset

This toy is great both cars work perfect and they both go at the same speed. It comes with tons of track. Lots of stickers and a really cool ramp. It also comes with 8 cone like objects for obstacles during the race. Do not listen to the other reviewer they got a bad set. I got mine after them and it works perfect and if you are still worried get it Amazon Prime so that if there is a problem you can return it easily.

Right out of the box - we absolutely LOVED this track. The cars were pretty fast and pretty neat looking. HOWEVER.... After 5 minutes of adult supervised play (and not rough), the blue car stopped working and would only intermittently creep forward at full throttle or using the turbo. We tried: new batteries, holding the remote REALLY close to the sensor, even while holding the car up so the tires could spin freely - NOTHING worked. The red car lasted about a full hour before it started similar problems. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I just got off the phone with JADA Inc (the manufacturer) and the woman said I could return it where I bought it (only problem is - my 4 year old massacred the cardboard box when he tried to open it by himself). The woman said that my only other solution would be to mail it to them (at my expense) processing time of 10-12 weeks PLUS she believed that they've discontinued that product and doubted it would be replaced with battle cars PERIOD. BASICALLY SAVE YOUR MONEY and SANITY... Stay away from these JADA BATTLE CARS. Also, if anyone stumbles upon a great set that is similar to this... I'd be forever grateful if you'll reply and let me know.

My grandson was thrilled to get this for his birthday. He and his daddy had a great time putting it together and then crashing each other.

The red vehicle showed signs of failure within the first 20 minutes., slowing down at intermittent moments even when I hadn't released the button on the remote. It then, without warning, failed to respond to commands from the remote. The blue car after going around the track a few times, began showing the same symptoms of failure and shortly thereafter failed as well. Now, it's possible that the remotes are the actual cause for the failure of the cars, but I have no way to test that. This was one of my son's favorite xmas presents; 20 minutes and it was over. Basically, Jada toys jacked xmas for us. Called Jada and they gave me the same excuse, that the toy was discontinued. Guess it's back to BoxMart for a return. :/

The toy is a good concept and my kids certainly have seemed to enjoy trying it out, but the one car only runs about half the speed of the other one so they always fight to get the faster car. The faster one does about 3 laps for the other cars 2 laps. As instructed by the toy instructions I called customer service to see what they could do to help. All they said was to return it for a replacement set. Overall its a decent set but I wouldn't waste my time or money on it given the poor quality control and the worse customer service from jada toys.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. The blue car worked well -- for about 2 minutes (no exaggeration). After that it slowed to a crawl for no apparent reason. I exchanged it and the blue car in the new set had the exact same problem. My son's disappointed and I'm out roughly $60. Don't buy it.
