What neck size would I order for a medium size

Dress shirts have specific sizes including neck size and sleeve lengths. Also, they come in different cuts, i.e. regular, fitted, slim...etc. It might be beneficial for you to go into a store and actually try one on. After that, you can order on line. Ill fitted dress shirts can look horrible.

Is it wrinkle free or needs ironing??

Mixed review on whether this shirt is fitted or not. I don't need it to be tight cut, but does this shirt have less material in mid section?

It is most definitely slim fit. I have over 30 button down shirts so I think I have a pretty good idea. Some commented it fits like a classic fit and is not slim and because of those comments I had to return the shirt - way too small. Pay attention to the product description regarding the cut because it is absolutely correct!

I wear a 14.5" neck. Is the 14-14.5 size of this shirt on the smaller or larger end of that category? 14" would constrict.

I use 16.5 regularly. 16-16.5 on this brand fits me very well. I hope it helps you. Good luck.
