Best way to get started with the Hue lights Lots of various white ambient to start with, then You get to enjoy the colours. the colours are brighter than some smart lights and I have enjoyed the preset colour scenes. The more bulbs you have the better effect of the preset colour scene. Hence my new addiction. These bluetooth bulbs can also be used with the bridge . Which gives you even more scope I have five bulbs now. I now ordered two more.

The Echo is really good, easy to use and works well, bluetoothed to another audio system and a pleasure to use.The bulbs are not, expensive and only last a maximum of 3 months before they become unresponsive. Total waste of money, even when discounted.

It’s still just a novelty item. 3rd generation and it still has issues

Bulbs are used in 2 ceiling lights in living room. Plugged in, switched on and Alexa found them straight away! So easy to set up. Have had the living room all range of colours and voice recognition is great. Dimming lights is easy but havent worked out how to have disco lights to music yet.

Hope the next gen can get me a beer out the fridge. Impressed it can understand my accent

Brilliant deal! set-up was easy and only took 10 minutes or so it get it working. Bulbs are bright, colourful and fun to control. Speaker packs a punch and I haven't had any issues with voice recognition either! Overall a brilliant pair!
