Leave on for the dog when i go out , have to change the batteries every other day. Very loud for such a small radio

Has good sound on FM and a.m. Easy controls and menu onscreen. Sw frequency have little pickup of stations and when locks on station there's too much interference to decipher audio broadcast. Alarm setting is for radio broadcast only and is only for last station used. Using headphones on radio on FM with strong stereo signal is nice. A.m wavelength is ok. So if you're ok with listen to FM/a.m wavelength and limited alarm option then go for it.

I recently joined a local church choir and we are practicing for a Xmas concert at the start of December. rediscovering artist listening to BBC and local groups the radio has been invaluable in training vocals and preparing for Thursday nights.

Soooo annoying! Instructions are useless, and some print so small I had to get out the magnifier. Pre-sets seemingly can't be switched off or cleared, and without them the tuning is painfully slow. Also Radio 4 signal is not very strong, so it's not picked up by the scan. This makes me want to return this radio. The time does not display properly - no display for AM/PM, and changing the time requires a further annoying epic of experimenting. That said, the sound is not bad for such a tiny radio, and it does take rechargeable batteries. I bought it replace another small radio which died of old age - after about 25 years! Hate to say this, but it's true ... they don't make 'em like they used to. Update: I returned the radio. After a few hours of use, I couldn't turn the radio off! The radio/time switch was faulty. Bought a Retekess, which is perfect.

Not totally useless as I can hear some stations. What is useless is the instructions!!! I cannot get the radio to tune into any station but BBC radio 3. I follow the instructions very carefully to save the other stations and get radio 3. I know someone who understands minimum instructions and will ask them but have little hope of a solution. Think carefully before bying this product. David

Para ser una radio de gama baja, bastante mejor que otras que se notas muy chinas. Usa dos pilas pequeñas, aunque también puede enchufarse con el transformador adecuado (no viene), es fácil de manejar. Tiene alarma, y sleep desde 90 hasta 10 mts. Sintoniza bien y programa emisoras. Bastante para escuchar la radio por la noche o para el escritorio.

J'écris pour ma maman de 96 ans. Ce petit poste est formidable. J'avais retourné un poste où simplement un seule chaîne F.M. de la localité passait et Amazone a eu l'amabilité de me rembourser. Je me suis donc décidé pour ce poste qui programme les chaînes, mais comme c'était pour ma maman de 96 ans je trouvais cela très compliqué pour elle qui était habitué à un poste non digital. Cependant comme c'est une fan de RTL, je lui programme sur RTL et c'est tout. Très bon son net, toutes les grandes chaînes passent alors que je suis dans un endroit où il est pratiquement impossible d'avoir RTL, France Inter , RMC etc... Uniquement 2/3 chaînes locales et ceci que ce soit sur des petits postes jusqu'à la chaîne HIFI de 1000 watts (je suis musicienne). Avec son ancien petit poste de 40 ans RTL passait mais avec beaucoup beaucoup de parasites et ce dernier a rendu l'âme catastrophe car maman ( comme mon père d'ailleurs) a toujours dormi avec le poste en marche de plus à présent elle est alitée. En attendant de trouver ce petit poste génial, je lui mettais la radio sur Internet mais très très mauvais pour la santé, de plus malgré tout quand elle veut elle peut couper la radio (ça elle sait faire). Cependant c'est quand même un "bouffe pile" quand on s'en sert beaucoup (5 jours maxi). Ceci dit sur Amazone il y a des lots de piles pas chères (je ne recommande pas les piles rechargeables car il faudrait les changer toutes les 6 heures et le temps de recharge serait trop long, à moins d'en avoir un stock rechargées en permanence) GROS DEFAUT : Mode d'emploi nul, pas d'explication, je ne suis pas arriver à le programmer heures/sommeil - Arrêt, chaînes etc... Aucune explication!! J'aimerais bien avoir un mode d'emploi ou une explication détaillée pour le programmer définitivement. Mais l''important pour l'instant, ma maman peut écouter RTL avec un son clair ( antenne déployée), sans déformation de voix et avoir son poste près de son oreiller sous ses draps. Seul inconvénient ma chambre est mitoyenne à la sienne et j'ai aussi le droit à la radio en dormant (lol) .elle ne veut pas mettre d'écouteurs. Dans la famille, nous ne fermons aucune porte à l'intérieure de la maison (nous trouvons les portes complètement inutiles et détestons s'enfermer dans une pièce) On ne change pas de vieilles habitudes. JE RECOMMANDE CE PETIT POSTE, pas cher, léger et de surcroît pour les intéressés peut s'emmener partout ne prenant q'une place minimum. Je suis très satisfaite, pour ma maman, de mon achat. Je remercie Amazon de m'avoir remboursé l'autre poste qui ne fonctionnait pas dans notre localité. Micheline.
