Very strong
This device is very strong. I'm using it to keep leaves from blocking an outdoor drain. I had to bend some of the "legs" to get them to fit into the drain cover holes because they didn't match up. It took a lot of effort to get them all in but now it's not going anywhere and it's keeping the big oak leaves from interlocking and blocking this drain.

Used as a sprinkler head protector
We were constantly having a problem with our sprinkler at the corner of our driveway being broken. After fixing it numerous times we looked for someway to protect it. This is the answer to our problem. It was placed over the sprinkler and pounded into the ground. A couple of days later it disappeared ... so we bought another and again secured the sprinkler and this time it worked. It's been a year now and still works ... very strong construction ...

Great drain cover
This drain cover is great. It’s heavy gauge, so it won’t get crushed, and it extends down into the drain so it won’t get knocked out of place. It doesn’t restrict the water flow the way that other covers do, and it doesn’t get clogged with leaves. We’ve tried several different drain covers, and this is by far the best.

Roof anti-blocking device looks as if it will work, but dont know yet.
The weakness of Amazon's constant inquiries is that one has not used or tried the item sold. It looks good and we are glad to have it. In about 6 mths time after we've fitted it we will know if it has worked. I would be glad if you didnt ask me for comment or only rarely with an appropriate item. Life is just too short with much to do.

NO RUST
I installed this 2.5 years ago, inspected my roof yesterday and absolutely no rust so far. I glanced over at my neighbour’s roof drain and it’s pretty much rusted away!

Not true to size.
It fits, but definitely not 2” … more like 1.5.” Can be adjusted.
