Amdro Ant Killer for Outdoor Home Perimeter, 12oz

It goes against my morals and principles to "kill" a tiny life that just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I usually try to save insects by gently capturing them in a tissue and letting them go free outside. With larger ants, that is easy to do. Even a slow fly can be saved, (they are rarely slow, though!), if you can get it in time. But those tiny ants are next to impossible to save. They are just too tiny. So, in this case, I had to choose the quality of MY life & the family member I live with over these tiny little innocent creatures who were simply looking for food in the wrong place. This annoying ant infestation was in the kitchen on the counter! These tiny little buggers were just where you prepare your food, on the counter near the sink. I've never used a product like this before, so this was a new experience for me. However, it is so annoying and disruptive to one's quality of life to deal with ants in their kitchen. I had to submerge my morals in this case. I carefully controlled how I spread this product outside right where the ground meets the house, putting down enough but not too much. That was fairly easy to do with the lid that come with it. I put it all along the permimeter of the entire back side of the house, not just under the kitchen window. The very next day, there were no ants in the kitchen! I couldn't believe it. I thought it had to be a fluke. I was waiting for them to appear the next morning. They did NOT. This stuff really works! If you have an ant problem, do not think twice about buying this product. It is effective and will give you your peace of mind back!

This pesticide is the real deal. I have been applying it about once per month along my exterior perimeter walls, and the ants inside the house have gone away completely. I know when the pesticide is no longer effective when I see tiny baby ants near the kitchen sink. The price per bottle is more than fair and compared to a professional service that would probably charge hundreds for the same treatment, this DIY pays for itself over and over again. Seriously, it is easy to apply and only takes a few minutes of your time to spread the pellets. I usually have some left after a full perimeter application, so I usually spread the remainder at the front of the house in the garden/shrub area. After two full applications so far this year, the amount of complaining I've heard about "we have ants again!" has dwindled to zero. At this point I've put a calendar reminder on to order it monthly and apply whether I see ants or not. If you're paying a company to spread ant killer, you may want to try this approach to see if it works out for you. Glad I tried it and saw success.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This stuff works! I tried everything to get rid of an ant infestation in our two-story home—Terro ant baits, gel baits, sprays, you name it. We had ants in every room and bathroom. We couldn’t leave out food, water, pet items, or even medicine without ants finding it. Before calling an exterminator, I decided to give this product a try after reading about treating the problem from outside the home. I’m so glad I did. The product was easy to use, and the instructions were straightforward. I wore gloves for safety and applied it in a 1-foot-wide band around the perimeter of our house, including the backyard, driveway, and even parts of the front lawn. The directions recommend applying it early in the morning or in the evening when ants are most active, so that’s exactly what I did. I kid you not—within a short time, the ants were gone. No more ants inside the house. I was honestly amazed. Since we live in the Pacific Northwest and get plenty of rain, I reapplied it after a rainfall just to maintain protection. If you’re dealing with an ant problem and nothing else has worked, I highly recommend giving this product a shot before spending money on an exterminator. It completely solved our ant problem.

Great stuff! We've tried other ant killer products, last one was a powder, but not a great success. Ants hit us every year. When I finally got smart and tried Amdro, I think we found a keeper. Our tons of ants just went bye bye in a few days. Couldn't believe it. I just surrounded the outside of the house with the beads. This was a 1400 sqft house, and I ran out getting the front of the house (and we still get some ants there). I have this ordered again and it should show up in the morning to finish surrounding the house.

Have 1 1/2 acres of wooded property that had been home to a lot of ants. Many ant hills. After using this product, almost all ant hills are gone. Figure i missed a few. Will be using on those to finish the job. Very effective eviction product for ants.

We “had” a terrible ant problem in and around our gravel and stepstone walkway in our backyard. We tried so many different products over the past couple of years and nothing worked until now! This ant killer is amazing and worked with only one application. I highly recommend it! I am so glad we found this product.

Had an ant problem in my kitchen that was not getting better with indoor ant traps or baking soda/sugar baits even though the ants were all over both of these. I received this product and had just a few minutes to sprinkle maybe 1/4 C around the base of my house where the ants were climbing up. I figured I’d more thoroughly treat later when I had more time. But, the ants are GONE. I applied this product around midday, and by that evening -no ants at all! Amazing! This product is not pet safe. Luckily, I was able to treat an area my dogs can’t get to

The fire ants like eating it more than my kids like eating Brussel sprouts, this is a good thing. Most of them all seemed to die. The ones that didn’t, moved and wouldn’t take the bait again. I respect the fact that ants are smarter than humans, therefore I had no option but to nuke the rebel strongholds with liquid poison. That taught them whose the boss. So far so good, and this is now part of my arsenal in a losing battle against a mightier opponent.

The stuff inside looks like tiny grains of rice but colored yellow. I've poured some on strategic locations around the house where there were heavy ant swarms and these things do the job. I've noticed a lot less or non-existent ant trains in those areas now.
