Firlar Car Door Edge Guards 16.4ft(5M) Rubber U Shape Edge Trim Seal Protector Car Protection Door Edge Fit for Universal Car (Transparent, 16.4ft(5M))

This was the second door edge protector that I tried on my Highlander. The first brand had glue in it and went on ok. However it did not stick and came off easy after setting in the garage for a day. It was also thicker and stood out on the door more. The Firlar set was much tighter going on stays on better doesn’t stick out and is pretty clear. I recommend Firlar over the one that starts with a C.

Installation: There were no instructions included and I wasn't sure if the sticky side went on the inside of the door or outside. The product description at Amazon didn't make it clear to me. Seemed logical it went inside though. The tape side fit exactly in the margin of the inside door edge on two different cars so I assume that is standard give or take, plus it isn't exposed to as many elements being on the inside. I does take some patience to get it started but then it gets easier. Took me less that an hour to do 8 trailing door edges (the edges you bump into other cars with.) I was surprised it is as skinny as it is but the clear guard is practically invisible and when you do notice the guard it does look very classy. Seems totally adequate for the job. If it stays on I'll be a happy camper.

I like it cause its transparent and not to obvious on my blue car. However I have brushed against it inadvertently and knocked it off. I put it right back on but it does come off easily.

It didn't go on easily. The sides kept buckling under and didn't go around the door. It took about 30 minutes for one door. Now after about a month it's coming off. It's not wide enough to hold.

I just bought a new car and my garage area is king if no Rowe so u didn’t want the doors to get scratched while getting in and out of the car. It works perfectly it prevents the door to chip and it’s almost unnoticeable.

After opening, I was skeptical about these at first. They seemed awfully small. They are indeed small, but they have held up so far. Be sure to clean and prep the door thoroughly before installing. Also use a soft cloth to run along the taped edge. Otherwise, very straight forward install. I got the clear one to use on my silver Highlander. Just barely noticeable, but adequately cushiony. Happy so far.

I use mirrors beneath my uv lamps when curing gel polish on guests. It helps to amplify the uv light from underneath to ensure consistent curing. I bought craft mirrors on Amazon but the edges were unfinished and I was afraid it would injure my guests. After searching for a solution in the crafting community, I happened to find this edging tape and it worked perfectly! Easy to apply, flexible yet strong. Really great product for my intended use.

Did the job for 3 months.. then started to get yellowish then started to lose the stickiness. Now after 6 months I took it off.

I bought this product to protect and cover up a couple of tiny flaws around the trunk edge of my classic car. Because it's transparent and low profile you barely notice it's on, and the color of the car comes through. I had to fiddle with it to align it properly, and let it adhere to the install overnight, but it seems to hold perfectly now. I still haven't road tested it yet, but it looks like it will be fine...
