no, this is simply a hydrophobic coating, not a scratch preventing coating. this coating does not claim to have any "hardness" rating, typically referred to as 9H on most Ceramic Coatings on the market.

Gliss is only a top coat that doesn't add hardness. If you want to add hardness over the clear coat then you have use UK 3.0. But you can just use Gliss.

Don't buy gliss if you have a cquartz

I have applied 2 coats of gloss over cquartz, thinking that it will protect from water spots. But it is no use , water spots keeps accumulating on the bonnet as it will be hot most of the time. It is slicker but doesn't serve the purpose. Though it makes the paint darker and shiny
