May 2021 - I've had this mirror 7 months now and thought I'd send an update. Mirror is still in like new condition. The clips holding it in place are as snug as the day I installed it. not faded or any other issues at all. Great mirror. I would add, if at first the view seems a bit distorted, it takes only a few days to get use to the wider view and once you do, it is fantastic visibility. Great mirror, great price and well made. The mirror on my older SUV was getting black in all four corners — "mirror rot" and looking bad. I took a chance on this item after reading the reviews. I am extremely happy with it. It looks great, fits perfectley and doesn't move at all on bumpy roads . As far as the view, it took a day to get use to it as it's a bit curved, but I love it. Clear, crisp view - wider angle of view and easy to see vehicles and distancing is fairly accurate like my old SUV mirror. A great reasonably priced and good looking alternative to replacing my mirror. May buy one for the other car, even though that mirror is fine.

1. The right side of my car has pretty decent visibility using this mirror (see picture and video). 2. The left side does not (see picture). All I see is my face/head rest. But I think that’s because I sit so close to the steering wheel. So not a product error. 3. The mirror itself is crystal clear. But it has this weird.. like effect? Like a quick glance and it blurry and I need to really look at it for a second for my eyes to focus when looking into this mirror. Also, it makes the cars behind me look farther away than it did in my regular rear view mirror. 4. Super easy to install. Clip the top over your existing mirror and pull the bottom tabs down to fit it over and have it clasp on the bottom. I’m going to give it 5 stars right away until I get used it end can determine how helpful this product really is. I’ll give it another week or two to really decide how much I like it.

It's a little wider than the original mirror but makes a big difference. When I'm driving I can see myself on my right side in the mirror which is OK. It's very clear and cars a just a little smaller than the original mirror but that's fine with me, I need to see if their is something there, not how big it looks. As you can see the mirror doesn't quite cover all the top of the original mirror, it's not distracting at all. It works perfect for me.

This increases range of vision side to side but the picture is warped and difficult to pick up when you first look at it

This mirror simply snaps on your existing mirror and is strong and does not move. Provides a much broader view allowing you to see much more left and right sides of vehicle. Can't really comment on the anti-glare. Have not had a glare situation yet. Just ordered another for my other car.

I always add this to my every cars. it help widen the vision and understand the road condition better especially on the highways. it is easy to install, reasonable price and fun to have.

I'm not going to lie, it does take some getting use to. I love the ability to see so much more in my car but it does take some adjusting so I wouldn't use it for long distance when trying it for the first time. It has given my husband and I a sense of ease in regards to our child being visible but still being able to see traffic. I'd recommend this to anyone who has an issue with their blindspots, can't see their passengers, and wants a very easy to install new mirror.

This mirror is exactly as described. I can't rate the 'sheerness' of it as I have no idea what that means. As far as 'anti-glare' the wide angle reduces the size of headlights in the reflection by default. So any special anti-glare features are redundant. I picked this mirror specifically for the wide gap between the clamps at the bottom. My van's stock rear view mirror has a small control box for the active anti-glare on the bottom edge of the mirror. This box is about two inches wide and interferes with the lower clamps on most of these sort of wide angle mirrors because they are too close together. The wide gap between the lower clamps with this mirror fit on either side of this control box so there is no fit issues. Another positive point.... this mirror doesn't interfere with the use of the microphone for the voice recognition system. (The microphone is built into the factory rear view mirror.) Final point: I bought the non-blue tinted clear version because my rear window is tinted. I read reviews here that said the combination of blue tint mirror and tinted windows can make it too dark to see out the rear window at night.

I was looking forward to installing this. Everything went smoothly, spring mounting mechanism is super strong, did not feel loose at all. The build quality seems great, mirror is nice and clear. The convex nature of the mirror really made a difference in the viewing angle, I could see myself and my passengers headrest easily. My problem, the center of the mirror, where I imagine the mirror is bent to make it convex has a noticeable crease. The whole left and right sides of the mirror are totally fine and undistorted, but the center has a bothering crease that squishes anything in it. Cannot live with that. Returned.

Does a great job of providing a wide view, sadly there is no night switch to flip it to prevent being blinded by cars at night.

It makes my rav 4 look like a bus now lol compared to the stock one. it throws off judging your distance when reversing, however I got used to it after a while and being able to have that much more of a viewing angle is worth it so I recommend it but some people might not like this if you are used to backing in to a tight space with a wall behind you. Everything in the mirror is closer than it appears.
