Awesome value for indoor cycling
First of all I received this product just two days ago. So I can say nothing about longevity or lasting build quality. However the welds are not sloppy and everything feels very Sturdy so I expect no issues whatsoever. Now getting on to what I do know. Sunny has made a name for themselves by making very affordable fitness equipment that is very well built for the price point. This bike is no exception. My girlfriend and I both use it and there’s plenty of adjustments so we can both easily get comfortable. The belt drive system is pretty darn quiet. Regular speaking voices or a television on whatever your typical volume is will likely be louder than the bike. There’s no squeaking or clanking or anything like that on my unit. The belt system is pretty neat because there’s no real maintenance or anything that you need to do to get it set up. (As opposed to a chain that would likely need greased/lubricated in various places) The computer that’s included isn’t super fancy but it works just fine. It would have been better if it included RPMs but if you really want it you can buy something else to measure that. Assembly wasn’t an issue either. All of the difficult stuff is done for you before the bike is shipped. The only negative I can think of is the friction pad that provides the tension on your flywheel will need replacing. I’m not sure how long it will last but I’ve been told you can buy them from the manufacturer. Overall based on initial impressions and the first couple of rides I’m more than pleased. Everything is well built and functional. If you’re looking for an affordable indoor cycling option this should do nicely for you. It works for me.

Decent spin bike at a great price
I've wanted an exercise bike for a long time but the cost was prohibitive. I hadn't been on spin bikes in roughly 20 years but when I saw this one at such a good price with decent reviews, I figured it was worth trying. I was at first disappointed in the packaging - it came in a box that was pretty damaged and I could see some of the metal of the bike through it - but once I took the box off completely, I saw that the parts were actually wrapped quite well and the visible metal was just an extra (high quality) part for packing purposes only. It did take a while for delivery, and they changed the delivery date on me twice, but it still arrived by the last day promised. The directions were comprehensive and it was pretty easy to put together. My only complaint is that the drawings were VERY small and I had trouble reading it. But with a magnifying glass, it was detailed and easy to follow. The bike has required tightening a couple of times as I've broken it in, but "real" bikes require that as well. I've used it almost daily since its arrival. It's quiet, works well, gives me a great workout, and while the computer looks fairly cheap and had poor reviews, it's been working so far. Most don't come with the computer or water bottle holder at this price, so I figured if the computer worked at all it was a bonus and if it didn't, oh well. So far, so good. It works as well as the spin bikes I used all those years ago, I can easily watch TV or spin videos while using it because it's quiet and has a platform for me to keep a book, tablet, or phone. And for the price, I could find nothing reviewed close or better. It may not be a 5-star compared to a Pelaton (though I've never used one), but this is 5-stars all the way for the price. Couldn't be happier!

Great bike, had trouble with the forward-rear set motion.
I like this bike quite a bit. The assembly was easy. To get it inside, I had to take it out of box. This made it easier to take the main body of the bike around corners and upstairs. The part went together fairly easily and intuitively. The friction resistance works well and quietly (slight whooshing sound, but that is to be expected). I choose this bike as first exercise bike over magnetic resistance for the cost, but also the ease of maintenance, as you can change the friction pad after it wears down and I have no idea how to fix a magnetic resistance. It rolls smooth when you get going. The cages hold my feet secure and adjust easily. The resistance is easy to use and adjust quickly (important when you are out of breath). The seat is okay, but that is subjective. I wish it had a skinner seat and my wife likes the one it came with. The biggest problem I had was the adjustment for bike fit. Most of the adjustment points work well. The seat height and handlebar adjustments give me no problems and make it easy to dial in the fit off the bike. The forward-backward (fore-aft) adjustment is another story. While putting it together, the bar went in no problem. However, when I decided to ride and needed to determine my settings, the fore-aft adjustment was very difficult to use. I had to bang on it to get the seat bar to move forward and backward. I removed it and examined the place the bar inserts into, and found no obstructions. I applied some oil to the post and put it back in. I still am having difficulty moving it to the correct position. This is not a big problem as my wife and I use the same setting, but I wish it worked better. So far I have ridden for about 80 miles this past month, and have had no issues. One of the nice features is the brake function to be able to stop the wheel at the end of a ride, instead of having to ride out. It would have been nice to have forward and back adjustment on handlebars, but not available until a much more expensive price point. I love the tablet holder, holds secure and at good angle. $200 is not much for a bike and this one has good features. I use it to do virtual distance challenges and it works great for that. I am a big rider and I don't stand up in the pedals a lot. I can do it, but I don't tempt fate for pedal breaks. Not saying you can't but I have had a bad experience on my outdoor bike. That said, when I stand up in the pedals, they feel sturdy. The whole bike is really sturdy and does not move even in the most demanding riding. If you need to move it, the front wheels work well and it is not too difficult. Overall, this is a quality bike so far. I will update later on down the road. I did not get a discount or any kind of incentive for this review. Update: 12/14/2021 Couple hundred miles on this bike. She is a smooth riding machine, that roams the land of "Only Uphill", looking for excuses and sweat to feed on!! I like the smooth action of the weighted flywheel and the way that the pedaling technique flows out of my feet without having to try. Pulling on the upward motion often feels like effort on other bikes, but my little War Pig makes it feel natural. The swoosh sound of the resistance is minimal, and doesn't disturb others. I have swapped out the beach cruiser seat for a road bike seat. I also added a Sunny brand phone holder (wonderful addition, don't believe the negative reviews on it). Once riding fit is adjusted, this bike feels good. Not like others where you are fighting for reach or pedaling cadence. The computer is a simple operation that gives enough info to tell me what is up. I don't really require a flight simulator's worth of info, just the time function to know when to start the effort and when to back off. The holder keeps my tablet steady. Speaking of steady, this bike has not rocked or shifted or moved in anyway other than to do what I want. Solid. I will keep updating.

A review with some suggestions
My wife and I have been using this Sunny bike for about 8 months, so I thought it was time to write a review. We had been taking spin classes for years at a gym, but when the gym closed we bought this home spin bike. We each use it about 3 times we week, and its held up well. The Good: A reasonable price. Pretty east to assemble with all needed tools included. A small enough footprint to keep in our bedroom (Picture) Seems solid for the price, and its held up well. Very smooth and quiet operation with the belt drive - whatever bike you get, get a belt drive! Some suggestions: We subscribed to online spin classes to keep us motivated. I highly recommend Studio Sweat on Demand. studiosweatondemand.com. I’ve seen Pelelon advertised, but this was more in our price range. It has a ton of spin workouts - from 20 minutes to two hours - plus a lot of other gym workout videos. It has a Beginning Spinner video if you’re new to spinning. It has something for every spinning experience level. We got a $99 New Year’s one year subscription, but monthly subscriptions are available for about $19.95. Highly recommended. You can find some spin workouts on YouTube, but these are professional and fun. By the way, I connect my iPad to my Apple TV with a sound bar (Picture), which really rocks the music. But that isn’t necessary. We also purchased a floor pad which we recommend - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001THTUAO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also, if you plan to watch the videos on a tablet, this holder finds on the handlebar and keeps it right at eye level. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZXRH84M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 A couple of maintenance items: It is recommended you oil the pressure pad on the front wheel from time to time. I purchased this oil, which is easy to apply. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3SD2FR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My only warning… I put on too much the first (and only) time and really had to tighten the resistance to get it to the level I wanted. Start with a small amount and work up! And finally - the manual recommends you check and tighten the nuts on the bike, especially on the pedals, every month or so. Do it! The only nut I found that loosened was on the left pedal. (Picture) The motion of the pedal works in a direction that can loosen this side. Mine was a little loose. I check it every couple of weeks, and have had to tighten it a little several time. I have read in reviews that one or two people said their pedal broke… I wonder if they didn’t tighten it, and when it worked loose it put too much strain on the shaft. I keep the tightening tool that they sent near the bike so this is quick and easy to do. That pretty much covers it. Happy riding!

great value spin bike
This is a great spin bike, especially for this price. After looking at reviews and weighing price and function, I figured Sunny bikes were the choice for me. I opted for this one mostly because the specs for this one seemed the friendliest for a short rider with a short inseam. The bike was very easy to put together. I did it by myself fairly easily. I do have road cycling experience; if you're not familiar with how to put peddles on, or how a bike saddle needs to be tightened, you might want to get help. Considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised at how solid the bike felt. It's been a fairly quiet bike to spin on, which is a plus. The seat is quite wide and not comfortable, but lots of spin workout time is out of the saddle anyway, so I have no plans to replace it yet. I replaced the pedals with these SPD ones (included are the spacers and hardware for SPD shoes): Shimano PD-A520 Sport SPD Pedal , paired with these SPD shoes: Louis Garneau Women's Multi Air Flex Shoes, Black, 39 . I'll be doing the Peloton classes using the iPad app, and the handlebars of this bike are perfect for resting the iPad with no extra hardware. I haven't had the bike long, but so far I'm very pleased with this purchase. Edited 9/3/2017: I did end up replacing the seat with a road bike saddle. If you're used to road cycling, this one will probably be too wide for comfort. I'm still very pleased with this spin bike along with the Peloton app.

Not worth it
I really wanted to like this bike. The condition of the box the bike came in was pretty rough. Upon further inspection the knob that held and adjusted the handle bars was bent. I had another bike that was being thrown, so I took a chance and tried it, and it worked. The bike assembly was easy and went together with no issues. The real issues began with its operation about 6 months in. The bike started making a squawking sound from the crank area. Was intermittent, so was tolerable at first. Got louder, so I consulted Sunny's website. I lubricated the crank per their instructions, and that seemed to help for a day or two. Around August of 2017 the crank flywheel started rubbing against the belt guard. Came to discover that there was a broken jump ring. Contacted support and they sent me a replacement, to the tune of about $11. Now I can handle this, but if you are not a bike mechanic, you are not going to have the tools to replace this spring. You will need a crank puller and a pair of jump ring pliers. All in with the jump ring, I figure this was about $40. Ok, I now have all of the tools, and figure out how to remove everything. I get the jump ring installed, and it does not help. I contact support and they think that there is something wrong with the jump ring. Now this took sending a video to support in order to come to that conclusion. I now have bought another jump ring at $11 and wait. I complete the install and everything is working. It is whisper quiet and easy to adjust the resistance. The bike has been working well for about two months up until tonight. In the middle of a workout, the flywheel/belt begins to rub against the belt guard again. I go to hit the crank back into place, by the way they have video showing how to place the crank in the proper location using a hammer, and discover that the jump ring has broken. This is exactly what happened when it broke the first time. I must say that when this bike works it is great, but when it has issues, it is not worth it. I have had the bike for just a shade past 12 months, so I am outside of the warranty on the bike, which for the frame is 3 years, but everything else is 90 days! I am going to attempt to find a replacement jump ring locally, but I am pretty much done with this bike if that cannot fix it. If you are considering this bike, please consider that you never know what you are going to get. Some get a great product, while others get a lemon. Buyer beware. Overall I would not buy this bike again.

Fantastis bike!
I'm not sure why there are so many negative comments about this bike. If you didn't get all the parts, fine, that is something to complain about with Amazon and get them. If your pedal, or your seat, or something came off, you need to make sure you followed the instructions to put it together, because it sounds that you didn't tie the parts enough. This bike is a great bike, with just little flaws, like not having the level numbers, you kinda have to guess the adjustment, it is missing the rpm's, and there is not a manual stop. Other than that, the seat cannot be adjusted for all kind of butts, so if you are hurting, go buy a soft cover, like I did, and now everything is peaches n cream. The pedals straps, make sure you adjust them once and never open them all the way out, that way you don't have to be trying to put them through the hole, which I admit, it is a pain in the buttock! Lol... This bike is quiet, smooth. Not sure if the noise some of you have complained about is the one coming from one of the pedals? Yeah, mine has it, but it is just, from a scale from 1 to 10, like a 2 or 3 with the noise, so you are really getting annoying over nothing. Unless, which it can happen, you received a defective bike, and definitely I would trade it for another one. I give this bike 5 starts, even though it is a 4.5, but there is not that option. Cheap, but it is quality. I'm enjoying riding this bike and losing the weight.

The left axis broke
I have had issues with this bike from the beginning. Was sent a replacement bike for a suspect left bearing a couple weeks after the initial purchase. The replacement bike worked fine (except for the computer, that was always off), for a couple months. Today the left bearing went and the pedals spin but the fly wheel does not move. I took off the belt cover to make sure the belt is intact and in place. Unfortunately I am outside the return window for this product. I have contact Sunny Health support to see if there is a fix for the bike. The original comment is below. I have bumped this from a 2 star to a 4 star rating. Sunny Health & Fitness customer service helped correct the original issue I had with the bike. The "thump" of the left peddle seemed to be a problem. Sunny sent me a replacement bike on account of this being a brand new model. The replacement has no "thump" sound. Additionally, it is way more quieter than the original. This leads me to believe there was an issue with the first bike. The exterior carton of the first bike was pretty beat up, so I assume something happened in transit and the bike was damaged before arrival. Sunny did a great job taking care of me, the customer, in replacing the product. This bike is comfortable and rides great. You cannot beat the price, easy assembly or customer service from Sunny. My only issue I have yet to resolve (and what keeps this from a 5 star review) is the onboard computer. There are no directions on how to set it at KpH or MpH. It also seems to read incorrectly, for example it says I am doing 50 mph at a moderate pace... not sure how to correct this. It also does not have wattage just time, distance, speed (which does not seem to be accurate) and calories burned (roughly 2,000 - 3,000 in a 30 minute session), so I think there is an issue with the computer. The bike looks good and is comfortable. The belt isn't silent but has a nice hum to it. However, there is an audible "thump" during each evolution. The pedals have been removed and tightened. The sound still occurs. I have not hear back from Sunny Health & Fitness support team. I have used the bike now for 5 days, 35 minutes a day. I am concerned the sound may be related to a larger problem. Additionally, the on-board computer is confusing. It says that I am traveling at incredible speeds and distance but there is no way to calibrate the computer. I am fairly confident I cannot spin at 90mph as this computer states. Considering a return.

Good sturdy bike
Easy & quick to assemble. Sturdy, comfortable, quiet & good quality product for the price. Also has a mobile/tablet holder. I usually do regular spin classes & this bike has a challenging resistance for me. But can also be used by beginners at all levels. And it looks good. I would recommend.

Great belt drive bike for a low price, but you get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. I wanted belt drive and a LCD display (mostly for distance), and I didn't want to pay 600$+. This came in under 400$ with tax and delivery to my door. I got exactly what I wanted. I would buy this bike again, because I don't want to pay a lot, and I'm willing to deal with the cons for the price I paid. I'm happy with this bike. Cons: Not actually a con, but scary at first- the bike comes attached to a metal shipping bar that will be scratched up. It makes you panic at first, but it's brilliant bc it comes off and is replaced by the real base that has been protected in foam in the middle of the box. Just don't freak out right away like I did. I included a picture to show how it ships. The bike is picky. It makes a banging noise which isn't too loud, but is annoying for a belt drive as BD is usually so quiet. We've put about 200km on ours now, and found that the bike needs to be moved around to find its happy spot. If you plan on moving this bike every time you use it, the pickiness might bother you. Ours stays in one spot (now that it's happy) and it hasn't made the noise in weeks. I also think it helped to break it in some. And to tighten all of the screws that are preassembled prior to delivery, because some were loose after shipping. It's not a heavy duty bike. More expensive models have a larger, heavier frame. I do full one hour spin routines on this, but I wouldn't want to be standing at a high resistance on this bike if I were over 200lbs. That said, it's sturdy for a low range bike. Way better than bikes in the same price range. It isn't super pretty. That might just be me, but I wish the red was less preschool and the frame was more black. I'm not sure how quickly the resistance pad will wear out. I bike at a fairly high resistance for long periods, so I think it will need replacing often. That's just me assuming though. I need to call sunny and find out. Pedals suck. But that is often the case with even high end ones. Easy to replace based on what you like. Pros: very easy to adjust. Two users in this household, and we easily go back and forth now that we know our correct hight adjustments. It takes 30 seconds. Belt drive for this price is unheard of. Very happy not to be messing with a chain. The computer is easy to use, you can lock it on any of the read outs, and I find it to be very accurate (I use HRM and fitness watches/apps to compare it). I actually find the seat comfortable compared to other cheap exercise bikes I've used. Easy to add a gel cover or to replace anyway, but I haven't done either bc it really doesn't bother me. The bike is cheap. This is the biggest pro for me and is a huge factor in my review. I looked at dozens of spin bikes before buying. Sunny H&F really makes the best, low end spin bikes. I want a second bike to allow us to bike at the same time, and I would consider buying this same bike, or even a lower end sunny model now that we have a belt drive with LCD read out for longer rides.
