This is a great and highly functional everyday carry multitool/knife.

I love this knife as my EDC I have more expensive knife's that would also work but It really does everything I need I don't kno who makes this for Amazon but really is a good knife/utility tool!

This is a surprisingly sturdy multitool for the price. I bought a few more for Christmas stocking stuffers because I've had mine for years and have used it extensively while camping and fishing and it's still going strong with no parts breaking.

For the price this tool has a good amount of versatility, but keep your expectations low, it's very cheaply made. If you're on a very strict budget or expect to damage/lose the tool it's a great deal, but otherwise you should go for a small Victorinox for *much* better functionality and quality. Amazon should already mention this, but this review is in reference to the black 15-in-1 variant. Pros: + Extremely low price for what's included. + Generally speaking, all of the tools accomplish their purpose. + Slim enough to fit into a change pocket, but not so slim/smooth that it immediately falls out of said change pocket. + Easy to grip; comfortable size and weight, no (unintended) sharp edges. + Comes with a holster. Minor Cons/Annoyances: ~ The file is very small, and its ridges are infrequent and low. With some time and effort it'll get the job done for nails and such, but don't expect it to work quickly, or on most other materials. ~ The knife opens to the left side, whereas it opens to the right on basically every other pocketknife I've seen. Not a problem, just a bit weird to open, especially if you've used other pocketknives before. This might be a pro if you're left-handed. ~ The icebreaker, file, and needle are difficult to get to; you need to either jam a fingernail very precisely between their tips, or open all of the tools in that row until you get to what you want, then close the rest. It might be better if the icebreaker were outright removed, since the needle can probably(?) accomplish the same purpose, and it'd give plenty of room to get to the needle and file quickly. ~ Everything on the "bottom" of the multitool only opens 90d towards the outside, but doesn't quite line up with the frame's edge; this makes all of those tools (especially the corkscrew and screwdriver) pretty awkward to use as the center of impact/rotation is very far away from the center of mass, or your center of grip. ~ The holster's back is just a vertical strap, which means you can only really thread it through a belt. While this isn't particularly unusual, in my opinion it's pretty inferior to a rigid clip, and the tool is better off just pocketed unless you need constant easy access. Major Cons: - Nothing is particularly sharp. The knife could be worse, but the saw, scissors, can opener, and corkscrew are blunt. - The scissors are especially poor; their "blades" are completely flat, and aren't held together close enough to meet, except for about an 1/8th of an inch at the very tip. This leaves them very slow to use against a select few materials, and utterly useless against anything else. - Very poor build quality/quality control. The materials themselves seem solid enough (and again tools' functionality isn't impaired), but mine arrived with a few components very visibly bent away from centerline, notably making the scissors impossible to retract without prying the bottle opener back toward where it's supposed to rest. Affected tools are slightly loose laterally so they have no problem opening/closing, but obviously being this messed up out of the box isn't a great sign. As far as I can tell these bends are coming from poorly machined hinge holes; on the plus side this means the tools themselves aren't bent (or easily bendable as far as I can tell), but it also means there's not a great way to actually fix it without returning the tool and getting a new one that hopefully doesn't have the same issue. My attached picture shows the needle and file pretty leaning pretty egregiously away from each other when extended. - The hinges are extremely stiff, while the fingernail grips are shallow and very beveled at the top. This makes some tools (especially the bottle/can openers) extremely difficult to open as they tend to slip right off of your nail and snap back into their resting position. Opening them requires either a near-painful level of force applied through your fingernail, or slipping a finger underneath the tool you're trying to open (which obviously doesn't help with the knife/saw). You could maybe fix this by detensioning some of the screws, assuming that's actually what the screws control (I can't tell), but I'm a little worried that the tool will simply fall apart if I try. This problem will likely lessen as the tool is broken in, though I doubt it'll ever completely disappear. At least there's the plus side that it makes tools very difficult to accidentally dislodge from their extended position, which makes up for the lack of any locks (on this model).

Quite impressed by this model for being an knockoff, decent quality with good fit and finish. Clips on the range bag for a quick field repair or such. I chose this one in particular over the other two options due to the reviews and I am glad I did.

I have had several Leatherman and currently own a Wingman (I lost two in the past), which is about 2.5x more expensive. So I will compare them to tell you where you may miss out by paying less. The Amazon is sturdy, and the knife sharp, and tools are useful for its intended purpose. Both the knife and saw can be accessed from the outside and locked. The pliers are spring-loaded and the spring is hidden. Personally I prefer pliers that are not spring-loaded as they don't take up so much space when resting on the table. However the Amazon lacks polish in key areas which can impact your day to day use. First, there are more sharp edges on the Amazon, especially along the edges of the pliers, which are sharp enough to cut. Second many tools are very tight and hard to deploy. May be it will get looser over time, but the Leatherman has just the right amount of resistance from day 1. I have medium size hand. If you have big fingers and short nails, it would be very difficult to get some of the tools out. (Sometimes it seems that I need another tool just to get the tool out of the Amazon) Thus, I left the Amazon in the car as a back up in case of an emergency. For around the house and camping, I prefer the Leatherman because all the tools can be readily deployed without much fuss.

This is a great multi tool. I already have a leatherman and whilst the quality isn’t exactly the same, this isn’t far off for something that’s a 3rd the price of one of those. The attention to detail is also great. The knife has a lock catch button, so it reduces the chances of it opening by accident. The nylon case is super heavy duty and fits perfectly, and stops the tool snagging the inside of a pocket or bag or wherever you may keep it. The tools are a little difficult to get out and they’re a bit of a nail destroyer, but then all these multi tools are the same. I’ve found this incredible useful - pliers, Philips screwdriver and a small knife have always come in handy for the odd thing, and particularly to be able to have this in a draw and not have to get the whole tool set out.

Ich habe dieses Tool jetzt schon zum vierten Mal gekauft. Nicht weil es verschlissen wäre, sondern weil ich es an mehreren Stellen abgelegt habe. So liegt es in jedem Auto, in der Arbeitshose und jetzt die Freizeittasche. Positives: + Klein + Handlich + Alle wesentlichen Tools dran + Preis Neutral: x Die Materialstärke wird bei dauerhaftem Einsatz nicht ausreichend sein. Negativ: - N/A

Zoals alle items die ik kocht van Amazon Basics, zeer tevreden van de kwaliteit. Aangekocht om bij te houden in de motor voor mocht ik het nodig hebben. Voor zover ik het geprobeerd heb voldoet het item volledig aan de beschrijving en is gemakkelijk in gebruik. Voor mij een aanrader. Beschikt bovendien van een draagtasje wat niet beschreven stond.
